Great choice for Nash. And the Suns got something in return.

I posted a link too (before I saw this one). I don't see Nash fitting on our team though, am I'm glad he is at least going after a ring with the Lakers and not just money.

Nash
Kobe
Artest
Pau
Bynum?

Yeah. That team is DAMN good. Perfect fit for Nash AND the Lakers, imo. wow.

Actually, I think that's the 2nd best team in the West...behind OKC. I think that bumps themp over Santonio

I doubt those draft picks the suns are getting from the lakers are even good. But I guess they can use them to finally rebuild.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I think that may very well vault LA back into title contention. They've needed a PG for a long time and they have the perfect one in Nash. Huge pickup.

At least he's not going to an EC team. :elephant:

PaxGar passed up on a great opportunity to temporarly replace Rose with the best possible pointguard available.
But that's what PaxGar always do......Stand pat and do nothing.

**** them.

I'm happy for Nash and Kobe....they should make an awsome backcourt dynamic duel.
Nash makes the Lakers better for sure.
Could of helped the Bulls.....thanks Pax.

Well at least Nash didn't sign with NY or Miami, LoL......That would of really rustled my hyde.

One thing for sure, Kobe's job just got a lot easier.

Don't be suprised if Kobe forces management to land Howard somehow.
The Lakers arnt scared to make moves and look at the results the last decade and a half.
Orginizations that take risks prosper and win titles.
Orginizations lead by Paxson type characters are stcuk with "just being good enough" as long as there in power because they lack the balls and creativity to get it done.
The Bulls orginization won't move to the next level until the reign of PaxGar is over.
So expect no titles or a real counterpart to help Rose and be added to our roster anytime soon.
Get your welcome mats out for the likes of Kirk Hinrich-Janerro Pargo-Arron Gray type guys.

Give it a rest already. Just because Foreman doesn't sign every single FA available doesn't mean he's standing pat or ineffective at his job. I know it may be tough to do, but take a look at the WHOLE picture. We have ZERO money to spend. $3M, that's it. That's rarely ever going to turn into a marquee player. And the FO is not going to spend $9M on a 39 yr old to be a backup when we just drafted our backup for the future.

ZOMG WE'RE NOT PURSUING GRANT HILL!!!!??? FIRE GARPAX BWSNAFKGNSWFENSJAKFN!!!

When you have a billionaire who owns your team & not a board like the Bulls do, you can do whatever you want. Especially when said billionaire doesn't mind that he will be paying 3-1 on every dollar of his payroll that exceeds the LT. Lakers are the Yankees of basketball. Their payroll next season (w/ just Nash added alone) will be $88M. That's head & shoulders above every other teams payroll. Buss will pay roughly $30M to the league next season to keep that team intact. You would be hard pressed to find many owners, in any sport, that are willing to give away that kind of money.

"See you in the finals"?????????

Are you fucking kidding me, LoL.
In what year do you expect a Lakers-Bulls finals. The only way you'll see that is to hitch a ride with Marty McFly and Doc Brown back to good old 1991. :troll:

Oh, and I don't want to trade Rose, but I'm always open to options and nobody is untouchable to me on a basketball team unless its Kobe-Lebron-Jordan-Magic and ( PIPPEN :troll: )

I only suggested that if it seems like Rose won't ever be as good as he was before and another team offers a player in the caliber of Lebron-Durrant, I would most definately consider it.............
Believe me, I hope Rose's recovery goes well and he gets back to business...

The argument could be made that the Lakers would quickly regain that $30M if they won the championship, but your point is full of truth regardless.

If Rose is not the same player he was, there's no one in the world who will trade a superstar to get him. :turrible:
