Btw the Kobe-Pau-Nash Lakers will be easily eliminated by the Durant-Westbrook-Harden- Perry Jones- Ibaka Thunder team. They didn't become a super team just because they got Nash. They are a very old team. Maybe they bought a ticket for the 2012-13 WCF but that's it.

If they get Howard it's a different story though.

Why leave out Bynum?

Yeah the Lakers are old, but they're still a very very good old team. They've been lacking good PG play for years and Nash fits that bill perfectly. They might not be a super team on the level of Miami or NJ/Brooklyn, but they're definitely at least in conversation with the Thunder. They're in win now mode (like...immediately) so they pretty much have to win it this year or else they will be easily eliminated like you said.

Unlike Pax-Jerry and the Bulls, I'm pretty sure the Lakers trying to put somthing together to make it happen.
Dwight Howard would be a fool to choose the Nets over the Lakers.
When Kobe retires, Howard would be the new Mr.Laker.

And a legacy to go along with Magic, Kareem, Kobe etc etc etc....And if its about the money, beaches and high profile lifestyle, then Hollywood is the place to be.

Nah. They will be nothing like the OKC. The Nets too if they won't get Howard (that I start to believe is very possible)

The Magic don't want a player who will be free agent after this season. So do the Lakers. Also Howard will be in a Magic situation when Kobe-Nash and Pau retire. And I have a feeling he doesn't want to follow Shaq's steps. So I don't see it happening. What I see happening is this:

Lakers trading Gasol for a younger more athletic PF or a solid PF and a young and athletic SF.

I believe that the point is that when there is a possibility of having 4 superstar teams in the league and the Bulls best player is seriously injured, as the most known/most profitable/with the biggest fanbase team in the world YOU MUST spend more money to follow the trend. The heat the last 2 years wasn't even a profitable team.

As for the reason why players doesn't want to play for Chicago? It's the same reason why the Bulls are the most famous team in the world. Michael Jordan. They fear even the idea of being compared to him.

Since Jerry is too cheap according to you, I wonder if he doesn't wear name brand clothes and shoes.
Maybe he drives used cars too.
He probably shops at garage sales and Walmart.
Jerrys a thrifty guy. :troll:

But seriously, its not about Jerry being cheap because he's not, its about all his focus being on the White Sox and leaving Pax to run everything. Jerry just budgets his money and investments.....That is why he is rich and the Bulls are a wealthy orginization.
He's not a bad business man when it comes to money, just the unwillingness to go over his budget..........SCROOGE.

I don't know the situation. But if he earns a lot and he is not willing to spend some for the team's success then he sucks. But I don't know. If what I read about the Heat having losses this year then it may be not so simple as we think.

Heat have losses because they have no fans. That will never be a problem for Chicago. They sold out even during the 1999-2002 time period.

Exactly.
LoL, I was one of the dumb fans in the stands from 99-2000.

The bulls may have sold out, but a lot of people didn't show up to use the tickets they bought, LMAO.

Yeah, but I did enjoy Ron Artest and Brand....I used to believe they would be the Bulls next big thing someday....man was I mistaken........And the Eddie Curry era wasn't much better until the 05 season...And then, pooooof, Curry was gone and so was his career, lol...The only good thing to come out of that era for the Bulls was Chandler and he was gone not long after Curry....Things didn't start looking up for the Bulls until Krause was fired...His 2 dream picks of Chandler and Curry stayed on the Bulls after he was banished.

Were tickets $20 and you get a free hot dog and a bag of chips? Because I remember watching that promo during the game on tv when I was little kid it was probably around 2001.

LOL! I know I remember my dad telling me that gas costed $0.98 cents a gallon back in the late 90s, but $20 for a ticket, hot dog and a bag of chips was a bargain IMO to see a NBA game. I think they only made that offer because the Bulls were crap from 99-04. I bet last season the Bobcats offered two tickets, pizza and a soft drink for $10. :troll:

I love how there are people out there like sp94 that think Nash would have immediately given us a title.

Oh yeah gas is way cheaper in Indiana and in that time I used to live in the North side of Chicago.
