Troy and Weideman are excellent on the radio, listen to them almost every game on xm where you can listen to any teams radio feed.

Between his out-of-the-blue Pulford bashing the other night, and taking shots at Havlat last night, it's pretty sad - Foley is a shell of his former self.

I was like, wtf? I almost think he was slamming Tallon with the Havlat comments.

The other thing that struck me the other night was during the pre-game, when Olczyk was saying that Pirri needs to not play so tight out there, that if he makes a mistake it's not the end of the world and the coaching staff would work with him on it after the game.

He's clearly been doing so many National games that he forgot that <strike>the next </strike>any mistake Pirri makes sends him back up the expressway.

Pierre is wearing off he's starting to tell where guys came from, college, Dad/mom, first born sperm....

I didn't get the Havlat thing.

They even had a graphic made up.

I remember that! I wasnt paying attention much, but I had no idea why they did that. To show that Hossa was the better choice? I believe he was, even prior to the signing, I believe it now, but what WAS that?

If Foley did it on his own, he's an asshole.

If he was "directed" to do it, he's a stooge.

It was a "look at the choice the organ-I-zaton made (sucking sounds)" complete with graphics.

Maybe Havlat and Foley didn't get along, but every Sharks game it seems that Pat has to spend 3-5 minutes berating the guy.

I didn't mind him in the Indian Head (when he was healthy). Pat probably cheered the Kronwall hit.

As i recall it was a side by side with Hossa on left, Havlat on right, and it had various stats, like points, +/-, games played, cost, etc. But I dont recall another time seeing that kind of comparison between two players. Obviously it was a discussion of this signing, but it was so...

...Dickish to quote the above.

The NHLN feed was San Jose's so they kept complaining about all of the non-calls that happened to them and the usual rampant homerism.

But methinks the graphic and the comments were brought to us all by Binny's Beverage Depot, if the smucker's-like thickness of Foley's BAC is anything to go by. Hell, if my Wife looks up and she's only been seeing the broadcasts semi-regularly for 2 years and makes guesses of how much Ketel One he's slammed based only on the pre-game coverage you know it's bad.

Got me. Not only is he a shill for the organization, he's an Asshole. Havlat made it to the Western Conference Finals with the youngest team in the NHL and had an awesome last year. No reason to bash him. There was also no reason to bring up the other asshole Pulford. Sure he's was a ******, we all know that, but two Cups later just shut the **** up Foley.

We all know you didn't want to simalcast games because then you would actually have to do your fucking job. Now just go away.

Funny story. Employee many of us know ripped the shit out of Foley when he left. I still thought he was good, so disagreed. But every time I mentioned him I was reminded losing him was really no big deal. Amazingly that tune changed once Pat was brought back as now he was again the best thing since sliced cheese.

That should say it all right there.....

The best part about the Havlat bullshit, along with it being unnecessary, I would wager that a good chunk of the band wagoners have no idea what he's talking about and don't even remember Jesus Havlat as a hawk. There is really no need to keep bringing it up. Especially the way he does. I don't remember him talking shit about Niemi, the only thing I remember there is him talking about the two stanley cup winners facing off. Sounds like an organizational edict to me, especially if there are graphics.

I found exactly where it's at in the broadcast (beginning of the 2nd). I have Hockeystreams, so I can capture my stream with my Mac w/audio later.

I should have saved that massive poster we made, but it was in rough shape after the game.

I bet the pictures of them and the actual picture used is somewhere with someone on this site. I will poke around my crap too. Steve Konroyd LOVED it and was ushering people out of the way so it hit the camera. So you saw this MASSIVE Jesus Havlat head right at their shoulders.

That was a fun game, with Bufflin laughing and such. Had no reaction from Marty... And I think they lost it...
