When/If JF ever becomes a franchise Qb call me. So far he is almost two years in, and has yet to break 3,000 yds passing. As for your RT/LT argument, it is dated, because the NFL has changed, and premier DE's now move around and rush from both sides. Say what you will, Lions did it the right way, build in the trenches, then get your franchise QB, not give him the David Carr treatment, and no one wastes 1st round picks quite like the Bears, so not sure what the fuck your talking about.Sewell is a 79 as a top 10 draft pick RT. Jones is a 74 as a 5th round pick LT. LT > RT. Spending a top 10 pick on a RT over a potential franchise QB isn't really good business but you already know that. Finding a potential LT in the 5th is better than finding a RT with a top 10 pick.
St Brown was a great pickup in the 4th. Sewell was a luxury pick for a team that can't afford such luxuries. Can't think of any good team across the league that drafts RT with top 10 picks. What is funny is you will clown the Bears for Jenkins playing guard but then plenty of guards get drafted in the 2nd round. Few if any RT tackles get drafted in the top 10.
How many 1st round picks do the Bears even still have on their team?
1? LMAO.
