You don't sit a catcher for 2 months at end of season , just to see how another catcher and the pitchers perform to decide who going to start in playoff..
There what 3 weeks left, I'm sure he decided already.
cause if he didn't care for Contreras starting in playoff and felt it would hurt the starters, he would be catching Montero more now so they can get comfortable and a rhythm going again..
Instead he playing Contreras more.
