Dont worry I was a year off, lions gonna suck this year

I personally see the Lions winning the division again and easily at that. You should do a ban bet with the Lions guys since you are so confident they are going to be bad.

No need, when the lions suck or lose to the bears @nc0gnet0 disappears. So im basically betting for nothing.

Thing is, I don't believe the Lions are going to suck. I think they win the division. I don't see them having as good of a record as last year but it will be close IMHO. I do see them choking in the playoffs. What team do you think wins the NFCN? I do believe the 2 Lions guys would happily take you up on a ban bet.

After The first game watching the Titans slaughter the offensive line, I believe everyone walked back any kind of positive predictions pretty quickly.

Do you know what “every year” means?

And nice job clumping in 9 wins in with 10-11 wins. And before you say that’s only 1-2 games difference, you could say the same thing every game down—8 wins is only down one from 9, 7 wins is only down one from 8. What’s the difference?

In any case, you’re a smart guy. You clearly know that what I’m talking about is the people who will constantly be guessing double digit wins every year.
i didnt clump 9 in with 10-11

in your post you said a conservative 9 and that you really felt more like 10

I literally predicted 9 wins.

If you don’t see how that’s different from predicting double digit wins every year, I can’t help you.

I'll be conservative and say 9-8, even though I really want to say 10-7.

Even though the Bears will be improved, I do think they'll have tougher opponents this year, no matter what the SoS # says.

Let's say they go 3-3 in the division, which I think we all think is reasonable.

I don't think it would be weird at all for them to lose to the 49ers, Texans, Titans, Jags & Rams.

That's 8 losses.

We all know they will lose a couple they should win, and win a couple they should lose. But I'm looking at the opponents, and I could easily see them losing several of those despite overall playing well.
sorry that you said what you said...i merely pointed it out.

i never said you did predict 10 wins, just that you wanted to and instead went with a conservative 9

sorry for hurting you

Lol, yes you did. You said I'm dragging people for doing the same thing I did. You've shown that that's not correct. I never predicted double digit wins, so dragging people for picking double digit wins every year isn't even close to being the same thing.

Schedule is brutal. 8 or 9 wins. Ben Johnson will be worth at least 2 wins by himself over Eberflus, possibly more, and Caleb will be worth at least 1 with his expected improvement over last season.

lmao you said you thought they were a 10 win team, but predicted a conservative 9

so yeah, id say you can lump yourself in with the rest of them that thought the bears would be a lot better than they were last year. you "fell for" the same thing you claim others fall for.

i cannot comment on what you thought the bears would do in 1997, you are correct there. i cannot say whether you do it every year, but i can say you were a part of the "club" last year

its okay, we all goof up from time to time. just own it

Every team in this division is going to have a brutal schedule. I think the Packers are the team that will fall off the most. You could see an 11-6 team win the North in 2025. Bears will improve and be competitive.

I pretty much agree with this take, although I think it will take 12 wins, and it is a two team race between the Vikes and the Lions. Kevin Oconnel seems to be able to plug in just about any old QB and make it work, so as long as JJ is healthy, I think they will be fine.

the one thing about BJ, he does pretty much own Brian Flores.

I looked it up. Yeah tough schedules for everyone.

Lions 3rd
Packers Tied 5th
Vikings Tied 5th

Could we have a division winner at 9-8 or even 8-9?

We beat the Packers last year, so should at least split. Sweep Detroit? Split with Minn? IDK.

I will imagine it from the balcony of my 7 figure house. And it wasn't the disagreement it's that you were willfully fucking stupid. I cannot stand people who are ignorant of their own retardation, but when they then take that stupidity and generalize whole groups of people with misinformation, it's a disgusting trait meant for the lowest bottom dwellers in society 🫡
you really didn't come out of this thread looking too good did ya
