The Cubs spects will do the same or better than these vets the Cubs could bring in. Like Vincente Padilla, ugh. Don't go close to him.

Yep, time reasons. School, work, cadet, etc. I just need time off for doing it for now. But, I plan on writing on it soon. I hope! But IDK for now.

I only write on mine when a team I like is actually doing good.

I might just have long posts here, like those trade ideas I come up with. There kind of fun to come up with.

If Hak-Ju Lee can make the team that would solve our 2nd-biggest need. But that is SO unlikely.

I'm in class so I'm bored. Here's another fast fun trade idea...

Cubs get:
P Zack Greinke
Low spect

Royals get:
P Chris Carpetner
P Jay Jacksom
OF Tony Capuano
P David Cales
IF/OF Ryan Flaherty

The Royals are open to trading him, and will take spects in return. The 2 spects JJ and CC will be good pitchers and would help the Royals. Capuano could be a good 3rd-4th OF, Cales, I think, could be a good RP, and Flaherty has been in the Cubs top 10 spects forever and I think he will end up being OK or good.

The Cubs need a true ace, and Greinke would provide it.

Thoughts? I know it won't happen.

Some team will be willing to give up 2 major-league ready 'spects w/ high ceilings. We don't have the pieces for Grienke, nor should we try to come up w/ them.

JJ has a pretty hit celing, and CC is getting raved around the league. But, you're right. This was just a trade between the Cubs and Royals, with no other teams involved.

No chance. Not the best idea either, just doesn't make sense to try and get Greinke now.

How long are Reynolds and Johnson signed? I wanted Johnson before he signed with Arizona in the first place.

Maybe I'd do it. How does the salary/payroll balance out with this trade?
