I loved Unsane. It sucks there was only two other people in the theater, it's the kind of film that would probably be more fun with a decent sized audience.

This one didn't originally interest me, but then after seeing the reviews and reading more on it, it's sparked my interest. The theater I go to didn't have it showing this week. If they have it in the future, I might go check it out

I didn't hear about it until recently but a pretty good movie but it has some points that make it a bit hateful.

Salvatore "Sal" Fragione (Danny Aiello) is the Italian owner of a pizzeria in Brooklyn. A neighborhood local, Buggin' Out (Giancarlo Esposito), becomes upset when he sees that the pizzeria's Wall of Fame exhibits only Italian actors. Buggin' Out believes a pizzeria in a black neighborhood should showcase black actors, but Sal disagrees. The wall becomes a symbol of racism and hate to Buggin' Out and to other people in the neighborhood, and tensions rise.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi aka "Return of the Empire Strikes Back" - 6/10

I love Star Wars, but I'm sorry... these new movies are just the original trilogy chopped up into plot pieces, slathered with some new characters/spin, and smashed back together to make new movies that evoke the same feel of the original trilogy because they know that is what will sell to the diehards who hated the prequels.

Empire Strikes Back.... frozen planet the rebels are discovered on and try desperately to defend, but must escape and a young Luke goes for his Jedi training somewhere remote, trying to understand a confusing Jedi Master, and eventually he sets off for a showdown with Vader against the wishes of his master.

Sound familiar?

Rey = Young Luke... confusing Jedi Master, remote planet, they moved the escape/journey to see him to the 1st movie.... does some training, then goes off to fight Vader, I mean Ren, against the wishes of her master. Tries to connect with and convert Vader, I mean Ren.

Luke = Obi-Wan/Yoda combined.... trains Rey and manages to come out of hiding to face Vader, I mean Ren, and both die fighting him and also die peacefully on a remote planet because his time had come.

Rebel base is desperately defended at the end of the movie instead of the beginning.... rebel escape happens at the beginning AND end of this movie.

Ren = Vader.... conflicted Sith who is full of anger and force talent.... winds up killing the Emperor, I mean Snoke, in the 2nd movie instead of the 3rd, and tries to convert Luke, I mean Rey, to the dark side. Oh and btw he was also a young, extremely talented user of the force, whom wound up tempted by the dark side and was nearly killed by his Jedi Master thus cementing his position with the Sith.

And all the while you have the same droids, same Millennium Falcon.... same Chewy... lots of same stuff from the original trilogy that makes it all feel familiar.

FTR I don't hate these movies, but I just keep seeing the same plot as the first trilogy and it seriously diminishes the fun for me.

I can vaguely guess how the movie will go, so I don't feel like I am on a journey with the characters.... it feels more like when I re-watch the original trilogy.... I like them, but I know what is going to happen.

Thor - Ragnarok - What the Heck?
Can someone help me out here? What was it that the Wife and I just watched? How this movie fits in the style of the Marvel Universe is what I am talking about. I mean the only thing this movie was missing for your 13 year old boy was some brief nudity of a woman (we got it with Hulk's butt of sorts). Plenty of 13 year old jokes/language, but it's like all of a sudden the studio forgot how to do a Marvel movie. The Helen character was awesome. But just about everything else was so...I don't know...Just...What the Heck?

Thor is more a lighthearted character, and the director(Taika Waititi) has more of a comedic background(writer and director for What We Do in the Shadows, which is hilarious, highly recommend).

I liked it, but it does clash a bit some of what is actually going on(The Goddess of Death coming to Asgard). Better than The Dark World for sure.

Star Wars in general is ass, but the new movies are so awful. However, I thought Rogue One was a worthy effort.

Don't worry Brett has me on ignore.

Brett missed the point entirely which should be a surprise no one. Thor Ragnarok was the best MCU movie so far, it should be used as the model for all future MCU movies. If these films can't have a laugh at themselves they should stop making them.

Let's face it, Brett is fuming over the fact that his wife (mommy) saw Hulk Butt.
