Darc on Netflix 7/10

Good movie for constant violence. It’s like a cross of Jon wick and Bruce lee flick

Infinity war- 7 of 10.
way too many plot holes and incongruities to overlook.
The tension at the end is completely ruined by a passing knowledge of upcoming marvel movies.

just one of a ton of examples (and this one is no spoiler, so safe here)-

Thanos knocks out hulk, but can be held at bay by captain america.
For reference, In the hulk movie...part of this marvel universe, The villian first tries to fight hulk using captain americas super serum.
As a far greater physical specimen than Steve Rodgers was, it would stand to reason he is just as strong if not stronger than captain america.
The hulk literally breaks every bone in his body without a second glance. Hence his need to get hulks blood and turn himself in to a hulk himself...

Yet thanos turns hulk in to a vagina that is scared to come back.
Then, he gets TWICE as many infinity stones..... and Captain america can hold his ground and stop his hand.

BULLSHIT!!!!!

Semi spoiler below....
Dr. strange sees millions of versions of this battle- with only one where the avengers win.
He then completely changes course on his oath to protect the stone at the cost of Stark or Parkers lives.
He said he had to give up the stone.
Hence, he allowed the only scenario in which the universe is safe to play out.
He alone chose to not use the stone. he alone gave it up.
He knows all of it is neccessary to reverse time and change the battle down the road.

With that in mind- the losses and tension are completely nullified. From that moment on you knew every outcome was temporary and destined to be undone at the hands of doctor strange.

Beyond that, the avengers fight scenes continue to be uninspiring.
I can only recall 2 iconic sequences in all the flicks... Spidey vs. Cap at the airport in Ultron and Hulk slamming Loki like a ragdoll in Avengers.
Shit- We got to see Iron man, Thor, and Cap go at it and the only memorable part for me was Stark making fun of Thors cape.

Not a movie, but... I'm finally getting around to Better Call Saul. Binged Season 1-2 this week and just started 3 yesterday. I never gave it a chance after the premier. Kind of wrote it off as stupid. Now that I gave it more than 1 episode I'm enjoying it almost more than Breaking Bad. Very surprised. They've done a really good job with it.

It has been better than Westworld this season. Damian Lewis and Giamatti are great.

When one of them seems to gain the upper hand the other one comes back. They're both very good in this show, PG really does a good job of pissing me off. Love seeing his wife in command when they are in the dungeon. Writers should let her just really take him to his knees into total humiliation, lol.

Jeepers Creepers 3 on Netflix 4/10
I don't know how many of you like the Creeper, but I'm a big fan of the first two movies. This third one slotted between the first two in time frame.
Overall really bad and is a disgrace to the Creeper. I hope the fourth one is better.

I liked the first two as well, thought the third was disaster.

I just watched the the most recent episode an hour ago, fantastic. They wrapped so much stuff up I thought it was the season finale, it was not, two more. I wish every show moved this fast, it's paced like a great movie.

This season Westworld still moves along, things happen, just too many WTF moments.

I believe Jeeper Creepers came out within a year of Joy Ride. I could go for some more road horror movies...

There's nothing like a good horror movie.
Wrong Turn franchise is pretty good, too.
