I wanted so much to hate deadpool. Much like I wanted so much to hate the new spiderman.
But both of them were fan fucking tastic.

I am dying to see deadpool 2, But I wonder how much of the original was Millers influence.

My Big concern....Some of the dialogue in deadpool...especially the most foul language... seemed forced. Like they really wanted to swear as much as possible or get some good phrases in there. (the voiceover where Reynolds puts way too much stress on skewered him like "A FUCKING KABOB" is the worst example).
I very much hope the dialogue flows better.
Swear all you want, just dont overstress the swears when you speak them or cram them in where they dont flow just to let the audience know the movie is extra naughty.

Should be good, plan on loving it, but worried the studio is full of doofuses that are pushing for more creative and loudly shouted curses just for cursings sake.

Yeah I will say that the forced language wasn't as evident when I originally watched the movie, but when I watched it again this past weekend I definitely see what you're talking about.

Reynolds wrote some of Deadpool's dialogue this time around, I think. Should be interesting...

I was just reading that the director of 1 ducked out for creative differences... so i guess it would be legit to view this one as a comparison between Reynolds vision and Millers vision.

Reynolds was damn good in the role... so I am very hopeful.

Reynolds was tailor made for the role, and it's really cool that he pushed his vision of helping get it produced for so many years. Crazy to me it took that long. Fans of the marvel universe could have told you it would be a huge hit from day one. Guess hollywood didn't agree until it was on their time.

Finished Vikings pretty quick I give it 7/10

Would be 10/10 but you can tell the corporate whores stepped in and made it a 20 episode a season show just to squeeze every last $$$

Will have to make time to see dead pool 2. Kb giving a sequel 9/10 that’s pretty bad ass considering how many times sequels just don’t cut it

The Hitman's Bodyguard - 7/10

Action and lolz were solid and plentiful.... Samuel L Jackson and Ryan Reynolds were great.

Most of the story/characters were shallow, but the movie is not meant to be an amazing/deep story.... it was meant to be hilarious and full of action and it was.

Perfect movie to watch many times to catch lolz after lolz.

Deadpool 1/5

Caught it on TBS this past weekend. Not my cup of tea. The only part I was entertained by was Reynolds talking to the audience as well as his own attack on his acting abilities.

No. I knew the movie was "sponsored" by Marvel, but if someone said there had never been a comic of deadpool, I'd not be surprised at it.

IIRC, he was originally introduced in Wolverine, right? *scratches head*

Underrated movie. It got bashed by critics but I thought it was pretty good for what it is. It’s a good popcorn film
