1. Watching R rated movies on TBS is beyond stupid. Edited for television version of Deadpool gets a who fucking cares/who fucking cares.
2. The Hitman's Bodyguard should have been great, it was not, the two leads bickered, I hate bickering. Great action scenes though.

There are movies that are violent or lots of language that I would like, this just isn't one of them.

Name a movie with language like Deadpool or The Departed and violence to match that you enjoy.

You complained about the tone of Thor Ragnarok.... I can't imagine any movie with an abundance or violence or curses that you like.

Deadpool 1/5

Caught it on TBS this past weekend. Not my cup of tea. The only part I was entertained by was Reynolds talking to the audience as well as his own attack on his acting abilities.

LOL. A movie where the Hero is rude, uses toilet humor, is a smart ass , is very bloody and has a pegging scene....

No shit you didn’t like it! I laughed my ass off and enjoyed the hell out of DP.

Dude I don’t begrudge you your views nor your beliefs but seriously... what ever possessed you to think that DP would be a good fit for you? Heres a tip, dont watch Dogma either!

Can we recommend any good porn sites for Brett?

No? Okay.

No. I knew the movie was "sponsored" by Marvel, but if someone said there had never been a comic of deadpool, I'd not be surprised at it.

Any movie sponsored, or that is a part of Marvel(even if it's under 20th century fox instead of Disney) has characters that have been in comics. Deadpool is a bit...alternative to most heros. His first comic wasn't until 1990.

IIRC, he was originally introduced in Wolverine, right? *scratches head*

In the movies he was introduced in X-men origins, but deadpool wasn't really deadpool in that movie. It was a bit of a disappointment.

They've basically written over that version of Wade Wilson. And since it's Deadpool who routinely breaks the 4th wall, it honestly doesn't matter that much.

Deadpool 2 was good. If you liked the first, I don't think you will be disappointed. I'd say they're about on the same level, but I'd lean towards the 2nd movie as being slightly better.

Ragnarok I believe I hit on the issue. No Iron Man, so let's give his stick to others. That's why that movie was awful.

How about Casino? Rounders? Terminator?

Never heard of Dogma, I did check out Deadpool on cable knowing ahead of time that the language was there but that the sex would get cut. Was hoping for a Marvel movie flick. It didn't happen for me and that's fine.

Hard pass.

I heard they used the term "fuddy duddy" in quite a rude manner.

Well I never!

I thought the way they nodded to that deadpool was funny in the first movie... but in DP2 they did a far better, more fitting "salute" to that version.

Saw it and loved it.

The kid acting in the movie was absolutely hideous... but getting beyond that, Cable was outstanding and DP was funny as hell.

The story was good, the ending was a little weak, Domino was a surprise in that her character was well played and well used.
Juggernaut was just ok, Collossus was pretty good, Negasonic non existent.

Gonna go 8 of 10 and it will probably go up a little upon further viewings... the devil is in the details... for example, they re-visit a throwaway joke from DP concerning his old apartment and roommate that I found extremely funny.

Deadpool 2 solid 8/10

Very entertaining and met all my expectations. Kid was annoying, but whatever.

Safe (Netflix series) 5/10

It’s getting some love from critics...I thought it was just ok. Only on my radar because I’m a Michael C Hall fan from his work on Dexter. They should have just wrote in his character as being American. His British accent sucks.
