Not a movie, but... I'm finally getting around to Better Call Saul. Binged Season 1-2 this week and just started 3 yesterday. I never gave it a chance after the premier. Kind of wrote it off as stupid. Now that I gave it more than 1 episode I'm enjoying it almost more than Breaking Bad. Very surprised. They've done a really good job with it.

I just started this yesterday because of your post. I didn't realize it was a prequel to BB. Liking it so far.

There's nothing like a good horror movie.
Wrong Turn franchise is pretty good, too.
Even though it wasn't exactly "scary" I thought Devils Rejects was a masterpiece of a horror movie. Awesome soundtrack, fit the whole movie perfectly. Hoping Rob lives up to expectations for the second one.

Yeah, he has a sense of making a horror movie look like an 80's "B" movie, which I kinda like.
I liked both the devils rejects and the house of 1000 corpses.

But going back to your "scary" comment, maybe it's just me, but I don't think there are truly any really "scary" horror movies...
I get more scared on a Packer week, FML.

I binged that a few months ago and enjoyed it as well.
I am interested to see if the present day cinnabon stuff is him in witness protection or if it is him in hiding period.
I am digging the evolution of mike the cop to mike the enforcer.
The only bummer there is that we know how Mike winds up- undignified death for such a cool character.

The Cinnabon stuff looks interesting. How and when does it come into play?

I don't think it's witness protection, he just went into hiding.

I don't remember Mike dying in BB. He had gotten all that money and stashed it away. I was under the assumption he ran? Did something happen to him I missed or don't remember? It's been a few years.

Walt shot him in the desert. He brought Mike a bag with money and stuff in it and they argue and Walt shoots him in the gut. Mike crashes his car and escapes a few feet down to a river and sits on the bank and dies.

The Natural - 10/10

What made it special for me this time around was my daughter watched it with me for the first time for her. Not a sports fan and she enjoyed it. She figured everything out though right away. I was impressed. Still reminds me of playing catch with my Dad. Always brings a tear to my eye like Field of Dreams for a similar scene.

4/10 , and only that high because Paul Newman is a pleasure to watch at work. All in all, what an awful movie, poor directions, beyond shitty screen adaptation of a decent book that lost all element of surprise and color of character.

I'm excited for the summer blockbuster season :) going to see Deadpool 2 this weekend. Part of me thought it was going to be shit, but I've heard nothing but good things about it so far.

I wanted so much to hate deadpool. Much like I wanted so much to hate the new spiderman.
But both of them were fan fucking tastic.

I am dying to see deadpool 2, But I wonder how much of the original was Millers influence.

My Big concern....Some of the dialogue in deadpool...especially the most foul language... seemed forced. Like they really wanted to swear as much as possible or get some good phrases in there. (the voiceover where Reynolds puts way too much stress on skewered him like "A FUCKING KABOB" is the worst example).
I very much hope the dialogue flows better.
Swear all you want, just dont overstress the swears when you speak them or cram them in where they dont flow just to let the audience know the movie is extra naughty.

Should be good, plan on loving it, but worried the studio is full of doofuses that are pushing for more creative and loudly shouted curses just for cursings sake.
