And these things caught you off guard? Did you just emerge from under a rock and run straight to the theater?

Saw the Han Solo movie tonight. 10/10. This was the Star Wars movie I've been waiting for. Better than any Star Wars movie since the original trilogy.

And Deadpool 2 was great but not as good as the first one. 8/10. Well worth seeing.

Saw Solo last night...it was pretty good. It glossed over character development a bit, but it was entertaining.

I'm seeing Solo tonight. I thought it looked pretty good based on the trailers and it seems to have gotten decent reviews so far. I'm happy for the main actor because he was getting bashed big time months ago before the trailers even dropped.

Just out of curiosity-
did the movie try to hard to tie in random shit from 4-6? Did he do the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs?

Interesting reviews from solo. I probably have to see it no matter what cause the nephews will request it. At least I’m not reading last Jedi type reviews

Black Panther...saw it a few days ago. It was good I guess. Just another CGI to the max like any other action movie nowadays. They are all the same imo.

I liked Solo better than the Last Jedi...but overall I thought it was a pretty forgettable movie.

Damn looks like Solo is going to be a bigger flop than Justice League. That came in way lower than expected

The Last Jedi is the first Star Wars movie to really disappoint a lot of people, and now SOLO is the first Star Wars movie that truly seems skippable. As of now, I'm not seeing it have any budge in the cultural zeitgeist.

Yeah, budgy zeitgeist, or market saturation.

The last Jedi was worse then episode one. Back then it was $6 dollars and some change to go to the movies. Now it’s double that plus double on concessions. I think when
you hurt the brand with a bad movie and Director doubles down on stupid talk of why it was actually great people can just wait until it hits iTunes or Netflix etc... I wish the guy they have in charge of their animations series which were both 10/10 and I’m waiting for the third one should be given a crack at the movies before they ruin it more then
What they have

You can blame the last Jedi for that.

Fucking terrible movie that pissed a lot of people off. Totally disagree with anyone who thinks it's market saturation. Marvel just keeps on pumpin em out and people go to see them.... because they're actually good movies. There's been no where near as many Star Wars movies.

I loved the Solo movie because Chewy is the shit in my book and he was heavily featured. I can see why the average movie goer would think it's just OK though.
