It would have been cooler if they would kill off James Bond and elba being a new character that avenges him and carries on the franchise.

They’ve been working on a Dora the Explorer movie for awhile. They’ll milk anything for an extra dollar. Sadly it will probably do well at the box office

There's a scene in The Meg where Jason Statham, equipped with only oxygen and a wet suit, hurriedly dives into the water with the shark.

There was no prior plan to do this.

Is it a "JAWS" rip off??

Wonder - 4/5

Heartwarming story about overcoming birth defects. It also talks about fighting bullying, something a handful of you dopes should pay attention to.

The Snowman - 2/5

Pretty boring mystery with an ending you see coming from a mile away. It just proves that unless the screen play is good no excellent cast can save a movie.

Watched The Quiet Place last night on a whim with some friends. Pretty solid movie. I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars relative to other horror movies which imo tend to suck.

BlacKkKlansman......5.7/10 parts of it was goofy, like I thought.

The Meg....5.7/10 typical "shark movie"

You guys should watch Antichrist and get back to me on what you think. My prediction is the vast majority of you won't be able to handle it.

I have seen it. Very difficult movie. I am hesitant to use terms such as "I liked it" or " I enjoyed it" because they seem wrong. Taken for what it is...it is remarkable filmmaking.

As far any kind of story arc...it comes off almost like a Bizzaro World retelling of the Biblical creation story. I think the script will also be too easily written off as misogynistic when I think you can make a good case for the opposite by the time the end credits roll.

Don't know how to rate it or even recommend it. I am not even sure if I would re-watch it. If you really want to be challenged by what a movie can be...give it a shot.

I enjoyed BlacKkKlansman. It does slow down a bit after about 3/4 of the way in, but overall it was a pretty good movie. Powerful ending...every woman in my row shed some tears. I hope to see John David Washington in some more stuff.
