Their marketing got me excited for it too. I thought it might be pretty good based on the commercials I saw.

Hopefully the next Nun is better.

I watched a movie by Wan's writing partner Leigh Whannell. Called Upgrade. Not great. Has flaws, but not a bad filler movie for such a low budget.

I knew September was gonna be rough.

Mandy and The Old Man and the Gun are the only movies I'm looking forward to for the rest of the month.

Dunkirk - So boring. Nolan is a sham.

Nolan is a stud, he just can't do certain genres. Nothing like making a statement about an artist based upon their worst work.

Rodin fucking sucked:

I pretty much hate slashers, but the new Halloween movie is getting good reviews after it's premiere last night.

The franchise that won’t die lol. Rob zombie ones were pretty cool

I watched Antichrist... The storyline is pretty shocking as is the graphic violence. I read an article about how ppl vomited and passed out at the Cannes, and it did not disappoint. My wife turnned her head at one point when she couldn't take the violence no more.

I recommend if you like crazy fucked up films with a bit of artsiness. At first the amount of visual violence really shocked me, but then a few days after the movie it's the story/mental shock that really remains.

Very good acting. It starts a little slow, but really REALLY picks up. I'm going to check out Nymphomaniac soon, and rewatch Melancholia, which I thought was so so the first time. Also, I found out Dogville was shot by the him as well. I really enjoyed Dogville.
