Agreed. Only movie I liked her in was Catch Me if You Can, but her scenes were stolen by DiCaprio's Sean Connery impression.

Her bank commercials are criminally cringe though.

Had no interest in seeing it, but my it was one my girlfriend wanted to see. Many things wrong with the movie, but I won’t say anything in case someone actually wants to see it.


Warner Bros making moves....Henry Cavill got canned. I always thought he sucked at acting and was a terrible Superman.

DC Extended Universe shambles tell us more and how this does or doesn't tie in to Jordan "being eyed for the next Superman"? I'm just want to know what's going on.

Many things wrong with DCEU. I don't think Cavill was the main issue, although I don't think he was that great to begin with. Idk how I feel about Michael B Jordan as superman...Now I know there's Val Zod and I wouldn't be opposed to him playing that character.

Translation: After 3 shots, WB wasn't making $$$ with Cavill.

In terms of Jordan, "Superman" is a fictional character so anybody could play him. After his role in "Black Panther".....Jordan is a "hot commodity"....so that could bode well for box office $$$$.

Just saw The Predator...I have not seen any of the other movies, so I have no way of comparing this with the others. For me, I had a good time with it. It’s far from perfect...the story is a little disjointed but it isn’t the worst thing I’ve seen this year. My expectations going into it were pretty low so that probably helped.

The original Predator was a great action movie, Jesse Ventura "I ain't got time to bleed!" "Do you have time to duck?".

P2 was bad, Predators was okay, and I have no idea about the AvP movies.

Avoid them. They took an excellent premise from a graphic novel and fucked it up. In the graphic novel the predators breed the xenomorphs to hunt. They drop off a queen in a kind of containment vessel on what used to be an uninhabited planet to lay some eggs (that is now used by humans as a giant space-cattle ranch), then send down a hunting party to kill them off (kind of like in Predators) and accidentally run into the ranchers. In the movie adaptations they do the same thing on Earth, for some stupid fucking reason.

Wasn't planning on it but I think I'm gonna see A Simple Favor sometimes soon. Interesting that the showings around here tonight are completely full. I wanna see how much it makes this weekend.
