Watched a recent movie called Searching, it was quite good. Thought I guessed the ending like 3 times but nope...total surprise.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  2. Oakland Raiders
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Ready Player 1: 7/10

Ending was kind of corny and predictable ... but it was still actually pretty entertaining. Didn't think I would like it.

I liked GLASS a lot more than I was expecting.

I watched this last night, too. I want to give it a 7/10 because it was kind of boring at there in the middle somewhat...
BUT it's a must watch for ppl who liked the first 2. M Night really does a phenomenal job of rounding up the story.

Vice - 6/10

Not sure I get why people like this movie so much.

It was pretty much Christian Bale doing a decent Dick Cheney impression for 2 hours while the movie seemed to rush thru the parts where he pushes the VP and POTUS boundaries and does all the manipulation around Iraq.

They cover much of the most controversial parts of Cheney's time in the White House with just words on the screen and short clips of real footage.

And the movie spends a seemingly inordinate amount of time and graphic imagery covering his heart condition and surgeries.... I mean I get it, the guy had/has some major heart problems.... is that really a key to him as VP?

I saw Vice last night.
I would echo this review word for word, including the 6/10.

Even when it kind of dragged through the middle, there were enough moving parts. The three main guys, the girl from Split, the boy from Unbreakable, the new lady etc...there was enough hoping around between to make up for it.

Good movie overall if you're a fan of the first two, IMO. I'll probably buy the set when it comes out.

That Doc lady tho... I'm so sick of her face from American Horror Stories...

Creed - 4.5/5

I normally don't like sports movies but this was great. Michael B Jordan was terrific and so was Stallone. Great filming style too, looked like they were really trading blows. BTW, no way that out of shape brit would have beaten Creed.. no chance.

Did you see it in a standard format?

I go to Dolby alot and this was the best audio experience I've had so far with it. The sound effects, score, and rumbles were amazing, partially because they were so over the top at times.
The early fight inside the building was insane.

I'm definitely planning on rewatching before it leaves Dolby.
