I'm surprised people aren't burnt on superhero movies yet.

I like sci-fi and superhero movies. My problem is the superhero movies were better written in the comic books than in many of today's movies.

What I've notice is the writing and dialogue seems more geared toward "millennials". Problem is these movies were created before the millennial era. IMO.....The writing should stay true to the original era.

Seeing nerds take their children to watch adaptations of the stuff they used to read/enjoy is nice.

It's an awful movie but it reminds me for example of seeing Terminator 3 in the theaters with my parents, when they saw the original before I was born.

Same sort of thing with people of my generation taking their children to Pixar sequels.

Well I saw the 1st Terminator( a classic) however, IMO they messed up his character by trying to teach him to be"human"....in the T2 & T3.

I can stay hyped for volume 3 now. Is he still going to do work with Dc? This doxing people for shit they said ages ago and allot of this stuff is off the wall not even serious just goofing around is getting annoying

He’s finishing The Suicide Squad first then jumping over to Guardians. I believe Suicide Squad starts filming sometime around September so it’s going to be awhile before he gets to Guardians.

I had some family members invite me to go see Five Feet Apart so I ended up tagging along. It’s full of cliches and super predictable. I’m sure most people could figure out what’s going to happen before even seeing it. That being said, this Haley Lu Richardson girl can flat out act. She saved that movie from being flat out bad. I wasn’t familiar with her before seeing this. I wouldn’t be surprised if she becomes a star one day.

Good observation.

Well....Five Feet Apart is not original. From the previews I saw, this looks like a thinly-veiled remake of The Boy in the Plastic Bubble, a 1976 film starring John Travolta.

Haley Lu is the reason I will eventually see that movie. I first saw her in The Edge of Seventeen and since then have enjoyed her in Columbus, Support the Girls and Split.

I almost spit out my water.

I know Hollywood lamely remakes everything, but I thought we were safe from The Boy in The Plastic Bubble. :)

Wasn't that a made for TV movie?

Seinfeld's Bubble Boy episode may have been better.

Triple frontier- by Netflix standards I give it 7/10 it could have been so much more but Netflix just doesn’t hit the ball out of the park with movies. They are terrific at advertising their movies

That's correct. And it's too easy to guess which main character doesn't make it.

Godfather - 6/10. It was okay. Dragged on at times, decent action other times. A good popcorn flick but nothing to write home about

Ahem. The Godfather is neither a flick, nor a movie. It is a f***ing film.
