I get blood work back in 4 hours. If it's negative for Mono, then I'll get a penicillin shot. If it's positive, my doctor said no meds :shrug: idk why but ok

Antibiotics don't treat mono. Usually they are prescribed to help with some of the other things mono brings on, ie. Rash.

Yes steroids definitely helped. But it made me so hungry....ALL THE TIME lol. I looked a little chubby in all the Christmas photos that year Hahaha

thank Monk! it's not mono. just a bad case of strep. Just picked up steroids and stronger anti-biotics. time to nuke my throat.

Btw I took the antis because my doctor said too. I was able to call her and my mom is running out to grab some prescription swish and spit numbing stuff
