I already did, and as usual, you put words in my mouth, and hurled insults at 3 people in this thread.

For the crap Chris got for starting this thread, he at least is worth conversing with, he doesn't hurl insults left and right at people.

Sorry, this is a forum, if you want to talk about your feelings, you can go to the potluck at the church. It's next wednesday from 6-8. Make sure you come early or else all the carrot cake will be gone!

I don't see how an insult affects your ability to make a logical argument.

Soriano did miss 27 games and his WAR is 9th among positional players, and a great argument could be made for him being 10th.

Not including pitchers.......

Go ahead and click the pitching tab at the top, then you can see all the pitchers that rank ahead of him.

So a fringe top 10 player excluding pitchers.........

Getting back on topic, I hate saying this, but its time for the Cubs to move past Wrigley; no GM change will fix that.

Way to undervalue pitchers fangraphs.

Anyways, what the Cubs do is negated by Wrigley. It's time to move past day games, short fields, and cramped facilities.

this is BS sorry Wrigley doesnt negate good pitching look at Prior and Woody and Z back in the steroid days

IMO the Trop is a better hitters park than Wrigley just my opinion

look at Ian Kennedy in the most hitter friend park him and there whole staff were dominate this year

no field negates pitching.

Excuse me for not using batting average to make a point. Sorry for using something that it beyond the reach of your brain. I wasn't aware that that is illegal.

My only thing is that people are too hung up on Friedman and Epstein...won't be surprised if an unknown GM/Asst. GM gets the job.

Merged threads.. and added on the title.. since this is more speculation then having Joel Sherman, Buster Olney, Tim Kurkjian saying the other way.

You know, if a miracle happens, Epstein and Friedman would work together with Maddon and Francona. :smug:

Actually my feelings are the exact opposite of being depressed, depression and disappointment is what the people with the hard-on Friedman or Epstein will say if the Cubs didn't get either of those 2.

If the Cubs want to win, they'll get Theo. Friedman is too much of a gamble in a big market. Beane can keep his moneyball in Oakland. Hasn't worked too great recently. An unknown is just that, unknown. Cubs need a proven winner. Signing a guy who has "potential" will turn out to be awful, because that's the Cubs luck.
