Not only does this make are starting line up awesome, we now have some very quality depth! Something that the Heat lack.

LOL at the Heat not having "quality depth".

Chalmers
Wade
James
Bosh
Anthony

Miller
Haslem
House
Arroyo
Howard
Big Z
Magloire

This 12 assumes they get nothing out of guys like Butler, Varnado, Pittman, etc. The Heat have quality depth no matter how you slice it.

Heat will easily win the east next season...If Orlando had made some sort of big move this year (like rid themselves of Vince Carter for a better SG) I would put them ahead of Miami..But Orlando failed to move...So I have Miami, Orlando, then us.

i think yall are in denial the heat will most likely be the best team in the east next year

It wouldn't shock me if the Heat were the only team in the East to win 60 games next year. Boston maybe gets close. Cleveland..well ummm.no where close....Orlando might get close as well but I could see the Heat winning 65 or so and the next 2 teams at around 55-57 with the Bulls just off that pace at right near 50-53.

^i could see something like that

the east is as strong as its been in a while

you got miami, orlando, boston, chicago and then in a somewhat lower tier teams like milwaukee and atlanta and the knicks with amare and felton at PG should be pretty good

I think Boston is too old and slow. That means, they get injured eaisly. The Bulls could beat Boston with no one and Boston was healthy. Not 2 years ago, last year. So that's what I think.

There younger,
Not by much. Howard is young,Nelson is in his prime,Redick is still young,Lewis and Carter are aging tho,I was thinking that Carter was going to be scrapped and Orlando would pick up a young guy

oh and its "they're younger"

more athletic
based on what? Brewer and Rose are good athletes but this isnt college where there are huge discrepancies regarding athleticism levels among teams....Orlando has some really good athletes

more balance

Bulls are a deep and balanced team...but so is orlando...they have quality guys at every position...and very good guys coming off the bench...so i wouldnt say balance is a big + for Chicago regarding this matchup

have a pretty good player at every position.

so do the magic..the magic are also more experienced..have a more experienced HC..and know how to shoot the 3...

Bulls simply don't look as good as ANY of BOS, MIA, or ORL. Rose would to improve into a top 5-10 star in the NBA to give them a shot in the East.

i think the bulls are in the same group as boston miami and orlando

and boozer is a pretty damn good player in the post especially with noah

the bulls are deep

they are balanced

with rose's apparent improvement on his shot form...maybe that could be one of the things to help elevate his game to elite status....also having more weapons couldnt hurt

We all know this, the Bulls will get the 2, 3 or 4 seed, right?

Boston didn't look too old or too slow last year when they were 1 game away(twice) and possibly an injury to Perkins away from being NBA Champions. The continued emergence of Rondo has helped take some of the pressure off of the guys like Pierce, Allen, and Garnett. Big Baby is starting to emerge as very solid player as well.

Saying Boston is "too old" is a cop out. You're dealing with a team that when healthy has been in the Finals.

We all know this, the Bulls will get the 2, 3 or 4 seed, right?
Maybe. Honestly the East breaks down like this.

Miami

Boston
Orlando

Chicago, Atlanta, Milwaukee

You are going to have a lot of teams in the east clustered in the 47-55 win mark. When things are that close it could go either way. One bad stretch at any point in the season could REALLY effect things. Does Chicago have a shot at the 2 seed? Sure...not likely but sure. But honestly with as tightly packed as the East will be behind Miami the Bulls could fall to the 6th seed as well. That's not to say the Bulls won't be a good or very good team but with the race as tighly packed as it could/should be anything is possible once it all shakes out.

I think Rose is capable of that. We are definitely going to have to bank on that happening in the next two years to be true contenders. If Noah keeps improving his offensive game, that could take us a long way too.

The Blazers do no want JJ. If the Bulls get Rudy, itt will be for a future 1st, but I don't think next year. That's actully fine with me because there pick will be lower and it saves a millon.
