i think we may give Boston some trouble this year

I agree...KG isnt what he was even at the beginning of 2008-09 season as he suffered a major injury...Now we have Boozer to keep up with him. Noah gets better every year and Perkins always gave him problems but now with Shaq there he'll be able to beat Shaq..He might get muscled on the offensive end a bit, but not enough to make a major difference. Jermaine O'Neal it depends...

Pierce and Ray Allen are only getting older and will probably degrade even more...Rondo and Glen Davis are their only bright young spots...I just think we can finish ahead of Boston this year...Whether or not we could beat them in a 7 game series (completely throwing away the 2009 Playoff Series) I'm not sure.

The Bulls offered cap space (absorbing Rudy's contract) and a future 1st for Rudy. But, the Blazers think thye can get more for Rudy if they hold onto him.

Rudy is worth a trade. The FO's problem is going have is deciding who or what to give up...

We can only hope if this supposedly will end by Monday, signing or not, that GarPax will get something done regarding a SG.

A future 1st is hell of an offer for Rudy. He's not even worth that. And, I'm fine with them offering a 1st for Rudy. There roster will be pretty my full and there pick will be later in the draft.

It's widely assumed that the Trail Blazers want Taj Gibson back if they are to deal Fernandez to the Bulls.
What next for T-Mac? - TrueHoop Blog - ESPN

The Blazers front office is half Special person if they think the Bulls will give up Taj for Rudy. They're not getting anything of equal or greater value from a role player that has demanded a trade. Might as well take what they can get and get rid of a disgruntled athlete that will pollute the locker room.

No Rudy please...shooter yes but that is all. And, back surgery 7 months ago, torn quad in March. I loved the pickup of Bogans as a defensive fill in at SG. I would prefer we pick up another big man, Thomas is quite old and Asik is quite young.

The whole Taj for Rudy thing has me as a fan closing this deal up & sending it back to Portland. Screw this, keep Taj. Rudy isn't worth our young talent to me.

If we had more depth in the front court Taj for Rudy wouldn't be so bad. Erase your feelings about Gibson as a player and the move still doesn't make any sense from a depth standpoint. Unless the Bulls want to have Chris Richard be the backup PF all season.

IMO they were dumb as **** to not sign Samardo Samuels after summer league ball. Thye let him walk and signed Kurt Thomas? Eck.

I dont think Rudy Fernandez is worth Wilson Chandler. However I hope they accept are deal with the 1st rd pick, that would be worth it!

Plus, Rudy is soft.
