Come on guys if Rico from Tik Tok said it, it must be true. It’s Rico!
Before NIL, players had nothing. Going from nothing to millions is a big deal so they'd be ready to jump into the NFL ASAP. With players already making over a mil in college, the hunger for more is nowhere near as great. Have plenty and know they'll have more in the future.

Point is there's a big difference from when players, making nothing, couldn't wait to get NFL money. These players, now, are already millionaires. They can easily afford to wait another year to chase a college championship or for whatever reason. Not sure your point. Williams makes about 2.75m in NIL. Again he would be absolutely stupid to turn down 38m guaranteed and 20m upfront to go play another season for 3m in NIL while risking he gets a major injury or his stock drops.
So he is declaring. Happy to ban bet anyone that he declares vs claims he is going back for paltry NIL money. Otherwise it is just people rambling about foolishness.
Rico has integrity. I believe that to be the truth.Rico has never lied to me. That's the truth.

Caleb is a baby and MHJ isn't leaving $25 - 30 MM on the table to stay in school no matter what he has said so far.Rumor...thanks to NIL Money, he said his sources say, Williams doesn't want to play for Chicago or Cardinals and is looking at entering transfer portal, to go to Ohio State....hence why Harrison Jr may return(plus NIL money).
Don't fn scream at me...just reporting shit that was said and the dude hits on stuff a ton.

He wants to get on with setting all the NFL records.
Good points.Even if Williams were allowed to transfer to Ohio State and not sit out a year (which he would be allowed) and MHJ stayed at Ohio State one more year, it would still be good news for the Bears.
It would be good news because of supply and demand. Right now, there are supposedly two good QBs worthy of being drafted at the top along with MHJ. If the above were to happen, the top spot would drop to only Maye being worthy of the top spot. The most valuable position QB would only have 1 player worthy of being selected first and even the one other option for #1 would disappear. This would mean that the team with the #1 pick would suddenly have to only pick where there is a player who should go #1, making the pick even more valuable.
The Bears could then sell that #1 pick for even more than they did in 2023 (because 2023 had 2 players who could go #1), get a good player in return during the trade along with the other team's first round pick in 2025 and a whole lot more draft capital, allowing them to see one more year of Fields' growth.
Rinse, repeat.
This time next year, CCS members will be saying that the Bears should have drafted Jayden Daniels, as Drake Maye pulls off a classic Tar Heel Mitch Trubisky type of career, even though Jayden Daniels was never in the Bears radar to be drafted.
Having drafted Nabers in 2024, the Bears will see what Fields has or hasn't done in 2024 and can decide to keep Fields, draft Williams (if he is even worthy of being drafted high), drafting MHJ (if he is even needed in Chicago), filling another need with a much better player in 2025 that was not even available in 2024 or rinsing and repeating once more.
As a side note, when a QB decides to play one more year in college, it rarely turns out to be a good idea. There have been many QBs who hurt their reputations and some who ruined it completely because they returned for one more year in college.
Williams might be the exception because his 2023 season was so underwhelming compared to his 2022 tape.
Sounds like fake news!!!! No I didn't and was just kidding.Did you hear about the time he paid for two young UTAH fans to go to a game after their father died? And how he met with them afterwards despite a tough loss?
Do you hear about how he flew his OL into the Heisman ceremony and thanked them each individually in his speech?
See my reply on the MHJ scenario in this thread somewhere, I'm calling BS on that. You're forgetting about MHJ in this scenario. Top 2 picks go back to OSU. No giant trade down. No generational WR.
I'm not worried. Just saying this is what people have been dreaming of for months now.
I'd just take Nabers.
A college championship won't add shit to their bank balance vs. getting a head start on 2nd contract etc.Point is there's a big difference from when players, making nothing, couldn't wait to get NFL money. Did Caleb look great this year? Actually a better chance he looks better the next. Don't think the possibility of major injuries are something players dwell on as much as other people do in these type hypotheticals. Also a type of risk one would be more willing to take if already making millions.and if he has a major injury and/or doesn't look great?
Of course it will now. And college football is kind of a big deal itself. There are players who care about the legacy they leave.A college championship won't add shit to their bank balance vs. getting a head start on 2nd contract etc.
I mean uscs talent (while Williams was there), especially this year, has generally been far inferior to ranked teams they are facing. Even good qbs struggle when the other team is significantly better at the college level
