He has been the QB of the Seahawks for three years. They have gone 11-5, 13-3, and 12-4 during that time, having the best record in the NFL the last 2 years and he has gotten a total of 0 MVP votes for his career. Hell, Bobby Wagner from his own team got a vote last year.
The MVP voters recognize that he plays with the best defense in the NFL, that he has a top 3 rushing game and that statistically he is an average QB. Until he breaks in to the top ten in yards, completions, attempts, or TD's he will just be a piece in the Seattle puzzle.
He is just the trolling motor on the bass boat that is the Seahawks, the defense is the 150 hp Honda 4 stroke.

I think that you are very much underrating Wilson's contribution. Wilson also rushed for a miraculous 849 yards last year. My guess is that with his new receiving weapons, there will be less running by him (but still always a huge threat) and more passing yards and TDs. Last year it was 20 passing TDs and 7 INTs. Probably see more like 33 TDS, 11 Ints in the upcoming season. Combine that with over 4000 yds passing in the upcoming year, and 400 yds rushing, the voting will look much different. And no, I do not think that any of those numbers are stretches at all.
