Since I'm in market, I'll probably watch it. Kinda become a quasi Rangers fan over the past 3-4 years... The local team, and I can't dare bring myself to ever root in favor of the Astros (unless they're playing the Cardinals or Yankees).

Dempster so far tonight in his rangers debut

4 ip, 8 hits, 7 ER, 4 ks, 2 bbs.

Good job, Theo!

In all seriousness, we all knew he couldn't keep pitching like he had been...but I didn't think his first outing would be this...whoa.

The Angels lineup is pretty top-heavy. Nights like tonight are to be expected even with better pitchers on the mound.

That's one of the biggest reasons I was surprised he didn't go to ATL...He's been in the NL his whole career. He'll have far better nights than he did tonight, but it's a more difficult league for pitchers.

Ahh well, not our problem I guess.

Lmao, Dempster's getting the opposite of what he got in Chicago. He was pitching well and not getting the win...now he pitches like crap and won't get the loss.

his FA stock is going to take a hit. he is going to get smacked around like a ***** in the AL especially in Arlington and facing some pretty tough teams the rest of the way. he was on a trend for the worse the last couple of outings. a game in the oakland coliseum at night might serve him well.
