Seems like the Dodgers are willing to do Webster or Reed straight up or a multiplayer deal around Garrett Gould or Ethan Martin. That is at least according to the source Cubs Den has.

Looking at Sickels list and reading between the lines on this report perhaps the deal might be something like Allen Webster and Aaron Miller or Michael Antonini. I would be pretty happy with that to be honest given the situation the Cubs were in.

Well I would think Miller and Antonini would fit the bill since they are in their mid 20s, strike out a bunch of guys, but also walk a bunch. They seem like the guys this FO targets as throwins.

Multi team? That sounds very convoluted at this point. The only thing that I can see as that going down is if the Cubs are sending off Dempster and someone else... and getting 2-3 top-level spects back. Perhaps moving Dempster to one team, Garza to another... and getting a strong mix of prospects from both... and maybe a minor move between the Dodgers and another team.

If we get Webster for him I think I will be happy. That is still a pretty good haul for Dempster, but it still sucks to lose out on Delgado.
