Our father who art in Chicago. Hockey be thy name.Thy will be done. The cup will be won. On ice, as well as in the stands. Give us this day our hockey sticks. And forgive us our penalties, as we forgive those who cross-check against us. Lead us not into elimination. But deliver us to victory. In the name of the fans, Lord Stanley, and in the name of da Hawks. Amen.

You want to know the difference between Saad/Bolland and Stalberg? Because they can play in other situations than just 5 on 5

Nothing to do with contract conspiracies...coaches could care less about that. They want 12 guys that is going to help them win.

and Bollig is the answer for a game? Like I said, go with what got us here.

Maybe I'm confusing him with someone else...but Bollig was on the team this year, playing during their unbeaten streak, right? So he did help get the Hawks there?

Maybe not. It's definitely the front office upset that next year he may not be on the Hawks...therefore not trying to win the Cup. Probably the same with Emery.

Numbers are very close.

What I would look at are the number of shots each netminder is facing.

That could be very key.

Rask had more "stinkers" as far as games go.

Crow looks to be far more consistent IMO.

Watching the morning skate...they think the lines will go as follows:

Sharp,Toews and Hossa

Bickell, Handzus and Kane

Saad-Bolland-Shaw

Bollig-Kruger-Frolik

Looks like Q is changing things up, which has me a little nervous. Maybe he wants to give Boston something to think about?

Crawford has had some stinkers as well.

Thinking about matchups vs Pitt. I think I read Chara was matched up against Malkin almost 90% of the time with Bergeron on Sid.

So vs Hawks will it be Chara towering over Kane and Bergeron holding Toews stick like Zetterberg did.

They will no doubt be trying to take us off our game. Hawks just need to play their game.

Considering they're more physical than we are, having Bollig out there might be worthwhile.

I'm not sure they're more physical.

Why Is the guy skating through the check, grab, hook while controlling the puck less physical than his opponent? Never understood that.

Rask has only 1 loss where he let 3 or more goals. Crawford has had 4 such losses.

Im only taking about losses. In any event, this dispels (you can look what this word means online) any notion that "crow" is far more consistent than Rask.

I'm looking at games where his SV% was less than .900. 2 of those were losses with 4 goals scored (maybe one was an empty net?) One was a win where he got bailed out by the Laff's epic melt down.

Crow has one game with a SV% under .900 win or loss.

I'd argue Crow faced better opposing teams and goalies, as well.

Rask has faced 2 teams that fell apart in the playoffs. One of the coaches is unemployed and the other is on the hot seat.
