I'd argue Crow faced better opposing teams and goalies, as well.

Rask has faced 2 teams that fell apart in the playoffs.  One of the coaches is unemployed and the other is on the hot seat.</p></blockquote>

See, you give the bruins no credit. Torterella and blysma are stanley cup winning coaches....they got fired/on hot seat because of the bruins. You can't just argue after the fact "oh the rangers and pens fell apart the bruins won by default." The penguins through 2 rounds of the playoffs have almost as many goals as the hawks do through 3 rounds.

Ill take defense and goaltending over offense any day in the SCF.

So...then you agree that the Hawks have better D and goaltending?</p>

 </p>

Hawks won the Jennings (thats the least GA)...and about 115 less shots per game against</p>

 </p>

Sounds like you'd take the Hawks over the Bruins any day.</p>

 </p>

And I'm not sure...but Babcock has won a cup, gold medal...and Sutter may have won a cup - I'm not sure though</p>

<p style="margin-left:0px;">Guess AV was axed a few years later because of the B's too after the SCF loss in 2011.  His last memo probably had the Boston logo on it with a statement that read "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE."</p>

Bruins matched up well.  Congrats.

All but one game was very close.  Reminded me of the series the Hawks had against SJ in 2010.

If the Bruins split the first 2 games going back to Boston they probably will win in 6 or 7. </p>

If the Hawks win the first 2, the series will be 5-6 for the Hawks.

If the Bruins win tonight I'll probably just ban you because I'm a good sport. </p>

For the bruins it doesn't matter what happend in round 1 v toronto. All i know is that they are playing even better hockey RIGHT NOW than they did in 2011 when they won the cup, the bruins D and goaltending as of right now i believe is better than chicago's.

Based on the Pens series you can color yourself correct.

If Rask keeps up his amazing netminding you'll have a nice silver chalice to revel in.

I personally would like to see game 1 first.

Pens were doing what the Hawks were against the Wings.  Beating the netminders, but hitting iron.  </p>

So...it's not about facts - as you were first trying to prove...now it's about what you believe.</p>

 </p>

For the Hawks...it doesnt matter about any of the games they lost.  No one look at those.  Only look at the games the Hawks won - and they're undefeated.</p>

Can't help it if Pens management is delusional.   That team fell apart.   Blame Shero, Bylsma or both....</p>

The Hawks have faced 3 out of the last 5 Cup winners. Bruins have faced 2.</p>

Both teams have had a helluva run to get to where they are now. LETS DROP THE PUCK ALREADY!</p>

This please.</p>

 </p>

Historically, teams that win Gm. 1 of the SCF go on to win the Cup 77% of the time. BUT if the Hawks don't win it, no need to panic though---they have been defying odds and breaking League, Team, and even just local sports records/feats all season. </p>
