Quick is the best goaltender in the game. Better than Rask. Better than Crawford.

He had a bad series because the Hawks were so good. Not the other way around.

If the Hawks can make the game's best goalie look mortal then they can and will get some goals off of Rask.

Quick to me played poorly in games 2 and 5 against the hawks. To me it also seemed that with the exception of game 2 the hawks really struggled against LA. Most games were decided by 1 goal, and if the hawks struggled to score goals against LA they will also struggle against boston. Rask is a young goalie coming of age, with .75 or so GAA against pitt.

I love this "We beat the Penguins so we can beat anyone" attitude that Bruins fans apparently have.

The ECF is an entirely different animal. They're failing to take into account intangibles against the Pens. I.E. The Pens best player is as mentally soft as a Tim Hortons jelly donut. Once they got into his head the series was over.

No suck luck versus the Hawks. They're tough on and off the ice.

I think if you take away the 14pts in 17gms for Kane...he hasn't done much. Even on a larger scale...remove the 66pts in his 68gms in his playoff career - he hasn't been a playoff performer

Take away game his game 5 perfomance and you have 11 points in 16 games, not exactly earth shattering for an elite forward.

In all honesty your best two players, kane and toews, are as soft and crosby and malkin.

That's a pretty crooked thing to say... even from a Hawks fan.

Bergeron is not regarded as an elite scorer like kane. Bergy's strength is as a good defensive forward who can also win faceoffs.

And if you take away game 2 where the Pens' goalies completely shit the bed, the Bruins struggled to score against the Penguins. Five goals over three games. Since the Hawks are infinitely better between the pipes and on the blue line than PIttsburgh, they should shut the Bruins out every game. Right?

Hawks against LA: 2.6 G/G

Boston against Pitts, even with a six goal game 2: 2.75 G/G.

What is your argument, again?

"Bergy"...LOL. Ok.....

But you want to "take away" a game where he has 3g to prove Kane's not a scorer.

And Kane and Toews are soft to Horton, Hunchbacks, Krejci's lightening quick speed

Pez...they had to do that against Vokoun - are you kidding? Bergy and Horts were up against that lights out D. Never mention they had to beat Columbus the round before.

Toews is an okay defensive forward...and not to bad in faceoffs either

But probably not as good as Bergy, huh?

So...Toew's 59% on faceoffs...2nd nomination for a Selke, and was a +28 this year? Never been a minus player in his career..and is a career +115...to "Bergy's" +70

And in the Olympics...Toews was the Best Forward - not for his scoring, but because he (not Bergy) was used as a matchup vs all the other teams top lines - and he only was on the ice for 1ga?

But yes...you can take Bergy over Fancy Toews...LOL

You guys are all fucking with me, right? This guy is made up
