I do hope Toews wasn't injured on that dirty hit and they were just resting him.

Resting him???? In game 5 of the Cup Finals. You gotta be kidding me. "Resting him." Of course it was the McQuade hit up high after he had 3 or 4 upper body hits prior to the high hit. Looks good that he stayed on the bench and was trying to talk Q into giving him some ice time.

Also I expect nothing from the NHL on that head hit to Toews. I like how not one fucking person in that broadcast could say it was a head hit, absolutely ridiculous. Even listening on the radio to some of the postgame on a Chicago station. Still hesitant to call it what it was. It was a fucking headshot you morons. Call it what it is. Stop dancing around it. Still talking about Bergeron though.

NHL trying to eliminate head shots. HA. Referee within 15 feet of the collision and skates right by.

In the regular season it's a suspension. For game 6 of the finals nothing will happen. A joke.

Officiating has been a joke for all 4 rounds.

As just a hockey fan, it's going to suck if Toews and Bergeron are out for Game 6 or the rest of the series.

Toews will play................Bergeron not so sure. United Center has xray equipment so to be hauled off by ambulance tells me he needed to be really checked over before boarding a plane.

I didn't like the McQuaid crosscheck to Shaws face . Probably should have been wearing a visor.

Resting him, as not letting him aggravate whatever he got from the hit. And Boston's best player was already out of the game and the Bruins never really got anything going, so I think it was a good call. If Toews is in for game 6 and Bergeron out, I like the Hawks chances.

Nor McQuade's high stick to Shaw's face. Watch, Nhl.com will have an article in a few hours saying the hit to Toews' head - though they probably won't use the word "head" - has been reviewed and no further action will be taken.

On a lighter, brighter note, it's kinda tough to see while it's actually happening in front of our eyes, but this Hawks group/core (Toews, Kane, Sharp, Keith, Seabrook, Hossa), when they win the Cup, are going to end up winning and meaning more than any Hawks "group" before them. Kane is becoming a Chicago sports legend....forever. Happening right now. And as long as they stay together, who's to say they can't add even more onto that? Rare times, especially in this era of hockey.

Yep that kind of mumbo jumbo.

Same with the McQuade cross-check. The result of a hockey play (ya know, the classic cross-check to the bridge of the nose).

Yea because Handzues is well known as a diver. Pretty sure he is far more known as being old.
