Worthy averaged a career best 21.4 PPG that season and by your own admissions prime is from 25-32. Worthy had a tremendous prime and then his knees went out at the very tail end of your "prime years". The point you tried to prove means nothing. The thing that "finished" Worthy was injuries, not some natural erosion of skill while healthy.

Because his knees were awful.

I'm seriously questioning if you have EVER seen a game that Pippen didn't play in.

Pippens prime seasons were not spent with Rodman on the roster. Hell, Pippen was starting to break down a bit physically by the time the Bulls went on their second run.

Pippen had two seasons playing in the heart of your prescribed prime years as "the guy" with no Jordan and no Rodman and we saw what he did. And it was damn good. You bitching about him playing "behind Jordan and with Rodman" doesn't mean a thing because he played almost two full two prime age seasons without either of them.

I never said Hill would average 26 in the offense with Jordan. Awesome job trying to make up an argument.

Also never said that. Congrats on trying to invent something else.

I don't know how you found this site but you REALLY need to step up your game if you expect to stick around here. Your last two posts have been basically nothing but misinformation and made up BS.

:obama:

I don't know because as I mentioned above we never saw what type of peak defender Hill could be because HE MISSED HIS PRIME WITH INJURIES.

That's what this statement means:

For christsakes.

.
You thought wrong.

If I "understood" or agreed with any of your points I'd put a pistol in my mouth.

Irrelevant question because you missed the point of my statement.

But just for shits and giggles. I rank Hill #1 overall.

EVER.

Lol ok, I give. Grant hill if healthy would've been a 33 ppg 16 rbd 9 asts and all-time great defender. Oh and I forgot to add, in his prime. Based on one season. A season that was similar to other players. And his defense is would've been legendary if he had 3 yrs of his prime.

You stick with your fantasy world. And ill stay with the facts.

I like your fantasy world where Bobby Hurley and Christian Laettner were better players than Grant Hill. Please hook me up with whatever drugs you are using.

It's all a hypothetical discussion. Thanks for still not getting it.

In college I'd say Laettner>Hill.

Hurley was incredibly overrated and Hill was easily the superior player

I understand your view. If hill played those 3 years he missed due to inury, he'd be better than pippen. What he did accomplish doesn't matter cuz 8 fulls seasons is a good enough measuring stick. And for shits and giggles. Hill is the number 1 defender ever.

And your boy rami feels stackhouse was just as prolific a scorer as jordan. And regardess of stats, accomplishements, awards, championships etc. Hills is still the best. Hill could jump tall buildings with a single bound and was faster than a speeding bullet to.

Ill role with the guy that's a consensus alltime great, champion, hofer, and the greatest defender ever. But yeah 26 ppg trumps all that. And in one season too. Who woulda thought?

Oh yeah and hills one championship in college, is a far bigger accomplishment than pippen six championships in the pro ranks.

I agree. In fact, who the **** cares about Michael Jordan?? Robert Horry is obviously the better player because he has more championships, too. In fact, common sense... who cares about that either??

Lol you don't care about common sense or the bulls. Its obvious. No one that claims to be a bulls fan would go so far out of their way to discredit what pippen did the way you and that other guy have.

That's why I literally watch every game I can, which included all but 2 games this year. Because I'm not a Bulls' fan and hate the team.

What you call discrediting Pippen is what I call crediting Hill.

Nothing in this topic that you've said came close to a rational thought. You are obviously a Bulls' homer who will stop at nothing to defend Pippen against a player who was obviously better. The least you can do at this point is admit that you are a homer.

By your own logic, Hill>Pippen and we've already established that. And I meant Stackhouse was as prolific of a scorer as Pippen- not Jordan. And that was obviously a typo because nobody in their right mind could ever believe Stackhouse=Jordan as a scorer.

I don't understand what all the controversy is about.

Why isn't LeBron James equal to or better than Jordan? All Pippen said was that Jordan's the best scorer of all-time, but that James is a better all-around player. Isn't he? The guy's a freakin' Magic-Michael-Larry-Isiah hybrid just as much as Jordan was a Dr. J hybrid.

I know it was a mistake. But just curious. What makes you think I believe hill was better than pippen?

Citing All-NBA awards despite the fact Hill placed better than Pippen, himself did. That was certainly one of the things.

How about answer these questions in a straight-forward manner instead of going off on a tangent about irrelevant details:

Better passer: Hill or Pippen?

Better ball-handler: Hill or Pippen?

Better rebounder: Hill or Pippen?

Better finisher around the rim: Hill or Pippen?

Better low-post scorer: Hill or Pippen?

Better all-around defensive player: Hill or Pippen?

I'll even give you mine:

Better passer: Hill

Better ball-handler: Hill

Better rebounder: Hill

Better finisher around the rim: Hill

Better low-post scorer: Pippen

Better all-around defensive player: Pippen

Passer Even

Ball handler, Hill

Rebounder Even

Finisher Pippen I can remember some monstrous dunks pippen has had over people. Hill wasn't a high flyer

Low post pippen

Defender pippen and its really not close

And I really don't see why awards accomplishments etc are irrelevant. It does show a general consensus of where a player stands. But I wouldn't call it an end all to be all type thing. D

And me saying that hill won an all nba award over pippen cuz he had a better season means just that. Seasons fluctuate. And im sorry but id be hardpressed to give a guy that missed half the season an all nba 1st team award. Which to me is why pippen didn't win over hill in 98.

That pretty much shows you didn't watch either of them play.

Hill was most definitely a high flyer, and was a better rebounder, and passer than Pippen. Hill has made some passes Pip couldn't dream about. The rebounding is clear as day in how they play and the numbers.

Hill's best season in 2000 trumps guys like Rose and Durant. There's no way that Pippen was a better player around 1992-1993.

Sorry kid. Do your homework.

The sad thing is it's clear that most you've seen of Pippen were videos on youtube of him dunking on Ewing and in the dunk contest.

I remember Scottie Pippen once pulled off a reverse lay-up and Johnny Kerr seemed to nearly piss himself in the broadcast both. Pippen only wished he could finish like Hill.

And YT search "scottie pippen dunks on mutombo"

You won't find a video of that happening.

Ironically, the first video that pops of on that search page is ANOTHER Grant Hill dunk.
