I was on a road trip to visit some friends in MN and WI the last couple weeks and it managed to snow on almost every one of my travel days: leaving Chicago to go to Pierz MN - check; from Pierz to Minneapolis - check; the only one that it didn't was Minneapolis to Madison; then Madison to home - check. I swear...what a pain in the ass.

We only got 6 inches of slush, but it froze into a cake of ice...couldn't even open the car doors.

Got a couple inches of fresh powder while I was skiing in Santa Fe Saturday. Of course it's bone dry back home in Albuquerque. Scary dry. And windy. We need some precipitation badly. Otherwise what little didn't burn the last two years is going to this year.
