They were looking legit today without their top two receivers. Jay fits pretty well in this system. That was a bad pick, the one against Green Bay you live with because it was a really good play on Mathews part. If Cutler is out I would like to see the Bears trade for Mettenberger or Glennon. Maybe get rid of all the older players and just go with youth. It will be ugly at times but they could see what they had in the younger guys and maybe somebody develops and becomes a playmaker. Bring back Woesterman and put him out there. Trade Allen, Ratcliff, Rolle, Ball. Just go all youth and let them develop together. Get the swamp monster out there. Bottom line is if Jay is out there is no point in attempting to compete with these older players that aren't going to be here if and when the Bears really start to compete.
