Paul Sullivan reports the Cubs calll up Michael Bowden & option Brooks Raley to Iowa. Ian Stewart is moved to the to 60-day DL.
I wonder if they can still recall Raley in the next few days to make a start in that doubleheader in Cincy on Saturday. It's well within the 10-day minimum but the new CBA allows an extra player to be called up for the 25-man (ergo 26) for doubleheaders.
