I'm hoping he's a little more bad ass in the next movie after Snoke "finishes his training."

I'm thinking this as well. Just as long as his evolution as a villain is better than whatever the hell Anakin was in Episodes 2 and 3.

I was basically a bit put off by the fact Kylo, an apparent Sith Knight with unfinished training, was able to stop a fucking blaster shot mid-air but lost to a seemingly untrained Jedi. Like, dafuq. The midichlorian must be strong as **** within Rey or some shit.

Yeah, I thought the movie was pretty good up until that point. I mean it took a lucky ass move for Obi wan to take down Darth maul, and he had way more training. Anakin couldn't beat dooku until he was an actual Jedi, nor could he defeat obi wan. Luke couldn't beat Darth vader. But this ***** closes her eyes, feels the force, and whoops the shit out of ren. Ren was the biggest pussy of a bad ass ever.

Yeah in the books and comics Hans Solo has a son and daughter. Although I am actually hoping Rey has some connection to Snoke rather than the Skywalkers and Solos. It would be far more interesting IMO if Rey was suppose to be the successor to the Darksidea but when Ben Solo switched sides so did she and she had her memory wiped and was hidden away to keep her away from Snoke.

He was pretty interested in her which one assumes is because she is a force user but it could also be because he is connected to her somehow.

It also seems like Snoke is Darth Plagueis who was Palpatine'a Master and said to have learned the secrets of immortality before he was killed by his apprentice ie Palpatine.

Snoke is either plagueis or Palpatine imo.

And as for Han, I was disappointed, but okay with it until Ren turned out to be a bigger pussy than 8 year old anakin.

And I know they're going to probably just explain Rey's Force prowess with some lazy ass writing. Like, "She's Luke's daughter and he trained her but put some force block on her mind that Ren opened when he probed her mind" garbage.

I think a lot of people are upset with the portrayal of Luke after ROTJ. I am not upset with the portrayal but the movie sure ends on a cliff hanger with a ton of unanswered questions. Sucks I have to wait two years to get answers! Agree, has lots of potential.

I thought the cliff hanger(s) were weak. We're not even sure on who is alive.

I still think the implication that Rey is Luke's daughter is going to be false as it feels way too "forced" (no pun intended) without even saying it in the movie.

I'm just hoping the 3 side movies they are making at least indulge some information regarding the new trilogy. Like maybe in Rogue One we get some answers to questions we have about the Empire moving away from Clone Troopers and going to brain washed kids, or why they keep building the same fucking type of super weapon that just needs to have someone know their shields down on to destroy.

perhaps rey eventually gets turned to the darkside (disney and their equality bs.. a woman sith lord) and ren redeems himself by turning to the light.. its also a play off her being that successor like you mentioned...

i hated the fact that rey schooled ren in their dual.. really.. i get his training isnt finished.... but... rey was like... like OMG oh yeah the force.. lemme think about it.. yeah okay.. imma make you my ***** now.

i think ren should have dominated her and the planets crust separating shouldve been what saved her..

and damn.. 30 years hasnt been kind to the princess... leia sounded like a 85 yr old smoker....

yeah hopefully mark hamill doest die in the time being... would hate for a cgi face luke when you had the real thing there already... they shouldve extended the movie another 45 minutes or so

Don't recall this ever being said otherwise every single person would be able to clearly find on the internet that Rey is Luke's daughter. Right now that is still up for debate.

Idk about that...it seems pretty obvious who is alive with the minor exception of Finn. But considering he's signed on through the next two movies regardless, it's safe to assume he's fine even if you weren't sure he was fine during his last scene.
