Out hit 46- 27... **** that.
I can't watch the damn games because I have to work... All I have is the lame ass box score on the nhl app.
Who was the turnover machine?
Can't wait to be a housewife so I never have to miss another game :(
Gonna watch the highlights to see who deserves the blame.

I really wouldn't be surprised to find out that some one went into cardiac arrest from that missed open net by Hossa. ****. that is pain.

First of all, why is Crawford down in his butterfly on that angle? Second had sharp been moving his feet he's with Paquette the whole way. Cumiskey is following the puck and is going right where Q has his weak side D go (back door). Cumiskey is the last of those 3 to be blamed.

I understand your points on Crawford on Sharp, but I don't get how Cumiskey is made to be so innocent on this play. He's supposed to go to the weak side and ... just stand there? He coasted back about a foot too far and left enough room right in front for Paquette to get the shot on goal. A quick poke check or some other method of tying up Paquette's stick would've eliminated this scoring opportunity and bailed out the ****-ups of his other two teammates.

Whats up with the D? Letting Tampa run wild in front of the net?
holy shit. Now Hawks getting outhit... Wake the **** UP!!!!!
I don't think you can blame crawford and not talk about D when they are caught pinching and letting Tampa fly into the net.
Not saying the Callahan goal wasn't a shit goal, but still. Hawks D... Not looking good tonight especially on the Palat goal.
It was an Islanderesque moment :(

Bring back Leddy

Really wish we could loan him out for the playoffs. He skates with such grace gets that puck up the ice like a boss. Never see him lose his cool.
Love watching him play.. Not trying to rub it in but you can imagine as an islander fan... cannot believe we got 2 and 55 for nothing and we have them both for 7 years. INSANITY.

Hawks are 30-30 in games 1-3 and 40-14 in games 4-7. While game 3 stunk, this series is far from over. Tampa has gotten the bounces the Hawks haven't. And Crawford needs to take his head out of his ass. He got outplayed by a half-dead goalie.

The two negative stats I heard were the last 13 winners of Game 3 in the finals won the cup 13 times.

And the other that I think is more concerning. The Hawks apparently have only had the lead combined like 6 minutes in the first three games.

Won 18 of 25 faceoffs, Corsi was +20. Sticking to the script again, eh?

I wouldn't get too caught up in this. He's got about a week left on the team.

Too many players from the Hawks are underperforming for me to get too alarmed. They're gonna find a way. They've always found a way.

Yeah I won't be sorry to see sharp gone. But it would be nice if he actually contributed, or hell, play a game where you don't put us short handed or contribute to a shit play that leads to a goal against.

You're basically asking why our 7th or 8th best defensemen didn't bail out Sharp and Crow. It would have been great if he did, but there's a reason he's a not a top six guy when everyone is healthy.

I remember the Bruins springboarding to a series victory over the Hawks with a game 3 win and 2-1 series lead. It still stings.

I hope when we see Pokka over the next couple of years, they won't be pining for Leddy and his $5M cap hit. You can't keep them all.

The play happened fast, and when Hedman was rushing the puck in he comes straight down the middle which both Seabs and Cumiskey take away. Hedmans speed pushes Cumiskey back and by the time Cumiskey stops the pass has already been made. Sharp is literally the closest guy to Paquette and he just watches him go by untouched.

I won't absolve Cumiskey as after he stops he loses track of the puck and can't make the poke check cause he doesn't know the pucks there. But, first back checker in is supposed to skate in literally back to the crease, and what does Sharp do:

Watches the guy closest to him skate into soft ice. You have to pick up a guy on the back check, and especially coming back to catch a 3 on 2.

My point is, unlike what B18 said, Cumiskey was not the only one at fault on that play. Sharp starts the whole odd man rush and follows through with a shit effort on the back check. With Paquette cutting cross ice and Hedman making a stellar pass, I doubt Cumiskey would of been been able to poke it away. I just wished Sharp would of stayed through the middle till and picked up a guy (like you've been taught since fucking mites) on the back check. Instead, no hustle and Paquette finds the soft spot between the two.

It would also be nice if Q would let his defenders pinch on the boards when he sends his wingers to check below the goal line. Sharp loses the faceoff, Kane and Richards go after the puck, their D throw it down the boards and nobody is checking Callahan, he stops the puck, turns around looks for a guy to pass all while Cumiskey is retreating in to the neutral zone. Every team since Nahville checked our wingers with their d-men at our blue line, but not us, we just let them come and hope our 3 guys back will stop them

It really depends on what Q/Kitchen wants them to do. Typically you don't have your D pinch unless they have support coming back from the forwards.

To beat the Lightnings D pinching, we need to start the break out much lower in the zone (hash marks along the boards). This forces their D to make a tough decision because now they have to skate further down into the zone and if the winger can make a clean breakout pass, it's a 2 on 1 the other way.

Cumisky looks and sees him. Should have. Sharp is just being Sharp. Guy has been a joke all year, knowing he's getting shipped out last year. Not sure what's been worse - his play on the ice, or off the ice. He rode Toews/Kane's coat tails as soon as those two got here.

Bickell...his offense has been disappointing. But at least he has brought the physical play.

Crawford - It's amazing this team won a cup with Niemi and Crawford as goalies. Not much difference in either other than Crawford makes 3x his salary. There was no reason for him to go down on Calahan's goal (same as when he gave up the first goal vs Smith in the NASH series) ...and to be grossly out of position on the third. Blame the D? The D that has been playing four guys and completely laying it on the line, taking hit after hit. And this guy lets in the shittiest goals at the most inopportune times. I'm confident they would get the same type of tending out of Darling for a fraction of the cost, with the same chance to win the Cup as they did with Niemi and Crawford

Sharp - enjoy FLA
Bickell - good luck in MTL
Crawford - I hope you like Buffalo/EDM/TOR
