Crawford needs to be traded. I don't know what it is about him but he gives up too many soft goals after his team either ties the game or takes the lead and have the momentum. It is very frustrating to watch.

Another dumb post by The Hawk. I'm surprised Mommy lets you stay up to watch the game, little one.

Definitely can't win a Cup with him in net, amirite?

Even if you're right, this seems like a strange thing for a person to say after said person has been repeatedly blasting Marian Hossa for not being able to score a goal after he was tripped and sent flying through the air.

There are way worse goal tenders out there. I get your frustration but chill out. Hes solid and has come up big for you guys.

Don't want to start a new thread, but would anyone swap CC's cap hit for the nearly identical 1 year hit of Milan Lucic, who is rumored to be on the block? They wouldn't trade him for Crow, but if you could move Crow elsewhere and add a very good power forward for a pick/prospect.

Darling in for Crow, Lucic in for Bickell.

Net win.

If the Blackhawks trade Crawford, have to believe it will result in a "cap win" and it won't be for a player that has a similar cap hit.

omg I want Lucic bad. But the Isles wont do it. Hes gonna get like 7 or 8M.
If I were in charge I'd do it.
We'd have Lucic, Boychuck, Mayfield, Hamonic and Clutterbuck/Martin... toughest team in the league.
PLus,, NO ONE would dare touch JT with lucic on his wing.
So much upside.
If Hawks got him I wouldn't be too upset since I do like this team.
Anyone else... I'm going to cry.

Considering Boston has Rask I just don't see how this trade would ever happen.

For ****'s sake

It's not my fault I'm blasted for being right.

Maybe the Bolts do still win if Hossa scores but there is a good chance that we still win. What about this is so difficult to understand? He has a wide open net for fucks sake. He should be able to get it in even if he is being tripped. He had a good 2-3 seconds to shoot before he was tripped. Everyone needs to stop mentioning all the little things that may have costed us the game when this was a huge opportunity that was pissed away.

This isn't so much directed towards you, Dfuher, as it is to italianbeef and Trev.

Bishop was down in his way, so he didn't have an empty net. He also had to get by the sliding defensemen blocking his shooting lane. When he finally got by right as he was shooting he gets tripped and has his feet taken out. So all the power you get from your core and legs has now shifted due to his legs not being on the ice to help his follow through. He's also cutting across the net, not heading directly towards it. So with his lower body (which generates the power and such on a shot) is now off balance, in turn makes him off balance on his shot. It seems you're the only one here who doesn't understand this concept. Maybe you've never played hockey before and don't understand the actual technique and such, but your argument that Hossa was one of 7 to blow the game is invalid and ridiculous.

We have NO idea on what happens if he scores. What if the Hawks sit back a bit with a 3-1 lead and the Bolts press and score two goals? There is way too many variables over the course of 40 minutes that nobody would know what would happen.

Lucic plays for Boston, not the isles.

Right, I'm saying trade Crow elsewhere, and trade picks/prospects for Lucic. I'm just talking about swapping salary. It would be a rental, probably, as he only has one year left.

Just spitballing - doubt it has a 1% chance of happening, I just heard he was on the block and what his hit was.
