dragic is kirk hinrich height...hinrich gets listed as 6'3 but hes not that tall. dragic as a 6th man would be a great scorer off the bench...again though to get him enough minutes to get his value you would have to play him on the court with rose some. that means dragic plays the 2 a good 15 min a game

If Jason Terry (listed at 6'2" btw) can do it, I think Dragic can too. Again, he's been doing it all season anyway.

Still have a record over .500 in the West though so...whatever works I guess. And just because the Suns aren't a lockdown team doesn't mean Dragic isn't a decent defender.

no doubt...but they do give up the 3rd most points per game as a team in the entire NBA. doesn't bode well...dragic is a decent defender, when guarding guys his size...ask him to guard a guy 4 inches taller than him though is a mistake

you just said he was Kirk size and hes been guarding SG's his whole career

actually no still is...if you compare their defensive metrics hinrich is still a slightly better defender than dragic, even at this point in their careers

obviously talent wise dragic is worth it. I just question how he fits into the current bulls roster

According to some here, the Bulls don't need a PG who sets up others and can shoot the 3. According to some, ball dominant PG that shoots a lot is "evolution."

Pros:
Provides a lot of offensive fluidity.
Can play a defensive system.
Communicates with players.

Cons:
Doesn't stay healthy.
Isn't quick or big enough to stop athletic guards.
Has been on the trade block for his entire career with multiple teams. Potential headcase.

Whether Kirks defense is better shouldn't be a motivating factor. It's not like Kirks defense is good. He doesn't really have a defined strength that adds to the team.
