The five just isn't worth much in this draft, yeah, I turn them down for Wiggins and their fifth. Paul George is being talked about going to the Lakers for their number two pick and one of their young guns. Butler is better than Paul George and the Lakers number two is better than the Wolves number five. I'd put the two maybe three(Celtics) in a bidding fight for Butler. But then again, we are talking about two idiots(Gar/Pax) not having the slightest idea how to orchestrate it

I already said this. If I am the Wolves, Im keeping my 5 and hoping Buddy Hield drops to me and they will be much better off. Wiggins and Towns are going to be the next great duo. To trade for Butler with Wiggins makes absolutely no sense for the Wolves. None. Not even an ounce of sense.

I don't. There are certain time periods for any team to compete for a championship or championships. The Wolves are in the Western COnference with some powerful teams in front of them. Yeah they have a lot of young talent BUT......... these young guys need a star and Butler is a star to get them to a competitive level with the top teams in the West. Drafting another young guy will not put them anywhere near where they want to be.

Towns and Wiggins both have the potential to be better than Butler...they have their future stars, they just need to be patient. Adding a shooter like Heild or Murray would be huge for them. Lavine can then come off the bench.

There's probably less than a 10% chance that Minny trades Wiggins in a Butler deal. IF they did however, I would bet that the only way that deal goes down is if we took back Pek's contract and probably threw in MDJ or something, since they need shooting.

What? Butler puts them no where near a championship. Wiggins is 6 years younger. The Wolves have a good number of years before they have to compete and the probably will compete soon as is with a few vet additions like a shooter and Noah

If Jimmy doesn't want to be here, I would settle for Lavine, Dieng, #5 and a 1st next year.

If the relationship between Jimmy, Hoiberg and the FO is broken...we know the latter two aren't going anywhere so we might as well get something for Butler because the last thing you want is Butler being a cancer and holding this team back.

This is why Gar/Pax should be fired because they should be in the cat/bird seat with a star like Butler but are poisoning the well. Trade are very much like a poker game. Any competent GM could put the Wolves, Lakers, and Celtics in a bidding war. Instead, Gar/Pax decides to show his cards to three other players in the game. It is so fucking pathetic it is amazing.
