No, I would check their stats last year. I would also actually watch Wiggins play. Wiggins is already a real good defender and is 6 years younger. Butler is the overall better player right now, but its not by a lot. Wiggins is going into his 3rd year in the league. He has all world potential still and is already a really good player.

I am a huge fan of Butler but this team is not going anywhere but down for awhile and would be supportive of a Butler trade. But I do not trade Butler if I can't get Wiggins in any trade with the Wolves and would have to get equivalent value in return from either Boston or LA. I am not interested in draft picks this season as much as in past seasons when the talent pool was better at the top.

That all being said, they have to trade Rose now not later. I just have had it watching his fucking soap opera continue game after game. If they are going to re-build, then re-build but not with draft picks so much as good young talent with some record of accomplishment.

I'd rather that they go after the Lakers number two pick along with one of their young dynamic players. The number three pick isn't worth much more than the number five pick in my mind this season.

Agreed.

The stars of this class are Simmons and Ingram. Those are CLEARLY 1 and 2.

Guys like Dunn and Hield you could draft any logically defend it either way at 3, 4, or 5.

If I am the TWolves, I am holding on to the 5 and drafting Buddy Hield. He makes that team instantly better.

I don't know Hield falls to 5. If he does I think he's a great pick for the Wolves and really adds a much needed facet to their offense.

Players like Butler are extremely rare, but Kevin Durant wouldnt add wins to the Bulls. This is not real life.

Also, I am almost positive you have never even seen a picture of Wiggins.

Who's Durant playing with that he's going to add playoff wins on the Bulls.

I'm completely positive you nothing about me.

The T-wolves have enough kids. They need a veteran with playoff experience to take them to the next level.

I think Murray at 3 could surpass them in a couple years.

Simmons has a bad mentality, doesn't compete. Ingram is rail thin. I like a bunch about murray

Simmonds averaged a double double and showed a great gift for passing. If that's him being passive, his potential is huge. He is easily the most talented player in this draft and his attitude will be a lot different playing against guys who can actually match him skill wise.

LeBron would have been the same way had he went to college.

Simmons was a combination of things. He had never played in front of big crowds. Australia doesnt have the HS basketball following America does. Also, Jones was awful with getting him the ball in late situations. One time Simmons went 5 minutes to end a game that LSU was leading and he never touched the ball once. Thats on the coach. They were running plays for the Seniors and not him. He didnt want to go to college. He just wanted to be in the NBA. Dude just fills the stat sheet though. I dont think people know how good he really is all around at his size.

Now there's a report that says the only way Butler goes to the Wolves is if Wiggins is included. I myself think it would be stupid for the Wolves to send the pick with Wiggins just for Butler but we'll see.

"Just for Butler"? Butler on that team would put them in the top tier of the Western conference and in a couple of years contend for a championship. Wiggins would not be enough to give up Butler. Even adding the number five pick wouldn't be enough. I'd at least insist on the Wolves next year first also. Clearly, Thibs would love to have Butler and Butler would be happy to be the leader of that team and get away from Rose and company.

Wiggins has shown the potential to be a good offensive player.

Butler is the better player. Butler is the more complete player. Players like Butler are extremely rare in the NBA. He can guard 1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s on defense. He can run the point, and be a volume scorer when you need him too. Wiggins is years away, if ever, from doing any of this. He's not the second coming of Michael, so stop the madness.

I don't see anyone calling Wiggins the second coming of Michael. Wiggins was the rookie of the year and what his future is should be bright.

Come-on..... Durant wouldn't add to the Bull's win list? That is fucking crazy.

They wont give up the 5 and Wiggins at all and you want a first rounder next year as well. Holy balls when did Butler become a superstar?

Wiggins and #5 would be a steal.

If Jimmy doesn't want to be here, I would settle for Lavine, Dieng, #5 and a 1st next year.

If the relationship between Jimmy, Hoiberg and the FO is broken...we know the latter two aren't going anywhere so we might as well get something for Butler because the last thing you want is Butler being a cancer and holding this team back.

That's the point Silence is making... He was mocking ChiSoxCity who is saying Durant would make no difference.

He is a still young top ten player(Butler). He is better than Wiggins right now all around particularly in his ability to defend multiple positions and play 3 offensive positions (SF, SG, and PG). You are underestimating the ability of Butler. Look, this is the Wolves wanting to contend next year. They will not as is but would with Butler.

Butler is a top ten player? No, what are people smoking. He also is a dickhead.

Lol, Butler is outside of the top 20 range, let alone top 10.
