When was Fitzpatrick a backup for the Bears?

You consider comparing 6 years of production cherry picking?

Offer up some legit contributions to the topic... or just keep stamping your feet like a baby in every cutler thread without ever offering substance. I don't care.
But for years all you have been doing is...

Actually I did. I am wondering why you quickly dismissed their career stats much like the others did with Mccown. You getting upset with me pointing out stuff like that makes you more comparable to the ugly white baby. So why didn't you accept their career comparison?

Good question. Ask airtime who brought him up. Apparently you shouldn't since it has nothing to do with the bears. These are your rules, not mine

I'm not sure you're following.

No one is saying you can't compare Fitzpatrick's career numbers to Cutler's

I prefer to make the comparisons with variables pretty similar. I mean did McCown's time in AZ project how he will play with the Bears? No.thanks
..... Did Ryan Fitzpatrick have anything at all to do with the bears?

I did not bring him up- it was a topic I joined.

Actually, my first post on the topic, which I joined in progress, first line was
Career as a whole? Sure- Fitz is trailing.

I however believe that discussing Cutlers performance with the bears should include his tenure with the bears.

And in all honesty, Cutler as it stands is only a shadow of the guy who arrived here in 2009, with less mobility and far less downfield ability.

And I said they're similar, especially over the last several years.

Cutler is a more talented QB, but he squanders much of that talent by playing stupid and not learning the things he needs to be a good QB.

Fitzpatrick does not have that talent, thus will never be able to grasp the things he would need to to be a good QB.

Then they are not similar. Different with Jay a bit better overall?

so, thats your defense of jay as a QB, comparing him to a journeyman?

lol

Juxtaposition? No one is defending him. Just calling bullshit by haters. I, as many want better but am in no hurry to launch him until we find it. Yes he's overpaid and I don't extend him on his current deal. Hate Emery fr that, not Jay. I hope we can do better 2017.

Emery was a freaking dope, and he is the sole reason we have been saddled with Cutty.
that was the most unwise, ill advised, stupid, un justified QB contract in the history of the league, both in time and money.

That was mind-numbingly stupid at the time, infinitely stupid in hind sight.

Their stats are very much similar.

Nor so much for me. Take it down another notch and we can compare similar to similar to similar until Jay is the worst QB in the league. Title is a dead give away that it's a Jay hate one. That's fine if it makes some feel better but I don't need to agree.
I'm going Goffing.

This...

don't know how any GM in their right mind would sign a QB with his injury history and notable mediocre play to a long term 100+ million contract.
