What D-man is going to produce at Skilles cap hit?
If he can score 12+ goals from the 4th line that would make him more productive than any 4th liner we've had... probably ever. Hes on pace for what, 25-30 points? What more can you ask from a guy who is averaging 11 muinutes per game?

My issue with Skille isn't that he takes too many shots, I just think he selection of shots is piss poor.

I personally would rather a guy fire a shit-ton of pucks, even piss-poor shots, on the net in hopes that either one goes in or someone bangs home a rebound than the dangling, skating, one-too-many-moves or one-too-many-passes looking for the perfect play only to turn it over--like has been the majority of our offense this year.

I don't have an issue with him. Not sure why Q does.
Scott should never be in the lineup. His value as an enforcer is a myth.
I'd rather have Skille in there as there's at least a chance of contribution.
Scott is a waste of space, regardless of his low cap hit.

I disagree on Skille. He has progressed very nicely this season...for all intents and purposes he's a rookie for crying out loud.

I amended my post to say "for all intents and purposes"....he's never had any consistent playing time until this year.

Incorrect. This is his FIRST SEASON with the team as a starter. Just as it is with Dowell, Bickell and Crawford.
While Skille has played a handful of games, like the others, it is their FIRST season with the team.
Four years with the "organization" is NOT four years with the "team".
