Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy ass game from start to finish this one.

As a hockey fan it was entertaining as hell. As a Hawks fan frustrating at times but soooo good at others.

Some reaaaaaaal dumb ass penalties at the end of the game (can argue if some of the calls through the game were bad or not till the cows come home...not including the horrible goal call off).

Hossa and Sharp are playing brilliant hockey right now. Toews killing along the boards and on the PK. What can you say about Hossa right now? If not for Toews he would be wearing the C for sure. Incredible shift after shift..such a hard worker. Nice to see Bolland score although he still had a poor game in my opinion. That goal should help him though. This team needs to get secondary scoring going. Hossa/Sharp/Kane/Toews are going to burn out at this pace. Brouwer and Bolland esp need to start hitting twine.

Scotts got to go. Can't stand it. Q has no option to play him with Stalberg and how does Scott match up with Stalbergs speed? HE DOESN'T!!! Get Stalberg someone that can keep up with him please!!!

Defense needs to start stepping it up. Wasn't overly thrilled with Seabs game tonight over all. Esp that 1st period I thought he was horrible. Picked it up as the game went on. He's playing too many minutes again. We need Campbell back sooooooon. Keith had a better game which is a promising sign. He's getting his stride back it appears. Dumb slashing penalty though. Thought Hammer had a great game for a guy that could have had thought in the back of his head all night. Leddy pretty good overall had a few rookie bluffs though but playing with Culli will do that to a young guy. Culli....get the **** back to the farm. Didn't care much for Boytons game either..looked rough. Hendry was okay really didn't stand out one way or the other for me.

Anyways....Buffalo wow. Wouldn't mind a few more games against them this season. Great match up. Frankly not sure if the Hawks deserved the win tonight...but will certainly take it.

Missed this game tonight, but why was Skille out of the lineup?

If Skille was a healthy scratch for that worthless John Scott, I'll have some of what Q's having.

Notice how all of the Buffalo cowards ran away or had nothing to do with John Scott? I'll take his presence in a game where it could have gotten ugly real quick.

Why do you think Scott was dressed instead of Skille? Certainly not for his offensive prowess.

Because Q got out coached on this one thinking Buffalo would play goon hockey with no goons and after being torn to shreds by Ruff for a pathetic showing against the Habs. Anyone who thought the Sabres were going to come out looking to play rough and tough hockey are out of their minds. Probably why they dominated the passing aspect of the game tonight. They were in our guys heads a little and Q let them in by dressing Scott.

just an opinion. Not sure what you see in this guy Stu. He does nothing...nothing.

It's not like a similar bunch didn't take extreme exception to a hit on Drury a few years back.

I have ZERO problem with Scott being dressed for this game.

But I guess it's only IHN if we're bitching over John Scott playing in a win, LOL!

Yep, Q was outcoached and won... it would have been a much different outcome if Skille would have played, instead of Scott!

Scott is a project, plain and simple.

After losing 4 games in a row, Ruff was not going to have his guys goon it up to enact the obvious and publicly stated revenge for Hammer's hit (who did get a 2 game suspension from)...

...so no need for Scott...but Scott was obviously there to prevent a run at Hammer, Toews, Kane, or Hossa.

Hossa, Sharp, el caliente!

I really do not think that the switch of Sharp and Toews was as effective as perceived...having the 4th line with the 3rd defensive parings out often when the Sabre's were controlling the game was pretty weak.

The officiating was maddening to say the least, and I rarely criticize the officiating. Really, incidental contact for a goalie that was already laying on the ice like a whore ridden hard and jizzed in the eye? Lack of obvious or weak calls in Buffalo's favor..

Bolland's goal, and Kane's break and pass to Sharp were awesome to say the least.

And apparently he did as none of those pukes wanted anything to do with him which was quite apparent on many occasions.

Yea Peel needs to choke on one, that a terrible job by him. I can remember some past Peel games and generally he isn't THAT bad.

If the NHL channel had a recap of message board highlights, this needs to be a part of the rerun reel.

No doubt you posted this on the O boards.

Scratching Skille for Scott, really? Wow Q when you pull your head out of your ass please let the rest of us know.

Brouwer-Toews-Kane??? What happened to Kopecky-Toews-Hossa? Has that not been the most product line? Again Q WTF?

Tim Peal go **** yourself you fucking douch prick. Worst call in a long time. So Kopecky gets pushed into the SIDE OF THE NET, the sabers player wipes out Lalime, TWICE, Keith scores and it's waived off? Kozari called it a goal and PEEL DUMB ****, 75ft away waves it off? **** me.

Seabrooks pass to Hossa, wow. Seabrook two points +1, yet people are still bitching about him after the game? Really?

Sharp and Hossa are on Fire. Kane completely jocked Lalime on Sharps first goal. Lalime thought Kane was taking the shot all the way.

Bolland, Keep that up, what fucking play!

Oh and the officiating was ASS tonight. Where did DIVING go? Toews cross check, fucking Bullshit. More like Sabre Diving. How those two bozo's arent fucking fined for the egg they laid is beyond me.

A win, UGLY!! 41 shots by the Sabres to 21 from the Hawks, and still after the game Turco sucks. Some people should go watch fucking golf.

Cullimore.. That's the Cullimore I remember. 3rd goal, screening his own goalie. Brilliant!

My favorite was when Kopecky got shoved into Lalime by the Sabres player and 5 seconds later a goal was scored after said Sabres player was holding his own goalie down and it was "no-goal" because of interference. LOL Peel better get a little fine for that dandy, that was absolutely ATROCIOUS.

EDIT: Just noted the initial comment.

Kopecky was pushed into Lalime and the side of the net. But that was 20 seconds before Keith lofted the puck. There was plenty of time. Turco was interfered with several times yet neither called it. Then at the end of the game are you fucking serious. Again worst officiating I've seen in a long time. Tim Peel fucking sucks and Kozari is a fucking pawn chump.

Even the Buffalo fans sitting with me on both sides of the isle thought the officiating sucked and was completely in their favor. The Toews cross checking, completely wiping out a PP coming our way was just as fucked. He totally DOVE no question.

How about when Turco got run into the back of his own net and nothing was called?

EDIT: My bad... there was no goal controversy on the play so nobody cares.

Honestly I don't know what those to fucks were doing out there except trying to decide the out come of the game as hard as they could. That waived off goal completely changed the momentum of the game. It was a GOOD GOAL, no question.

Very good efforts by a couple guys. Hossa is really finishing his chances. Sharp is absolutely white hot, he is flying out there. Bolland had his best game of the season he was all over tonight. And his goal was beautiful. Scott? He must have compromising pictures of someone on the Hawks. How is he still out there, he makes Cullimore look like an all star. But overall nice comeback win against a desperate Sabres team.

ROFL!!!!

More pointless hate... yea Scott made Cullimore look like an all-star when dumbass tripped over the blueline casuing the 1st goal.

Some people just crack me up.....

But I guess Cullimore has only played 775+ games in the NHL so he shouldn't know better or anything LMAO!

Q hinted he scratched Skille in Favor of Scott incase any bad blood started. I do not agree with that. I'd have scratched Scott. He's just no good. Any number of Brouwer, Bickell, Dowell could have atoned for anything against this pussy ass Sabres team.

You mean the goal that was a Turco rebound that Leddy kicked in?

And FYI Cullimore and Scott suck. Neither should be on this team. Period.

and had you not noticed Scott has fallen down more than any Hawk including Cullimore. He skates like my fucking mom. Least Cullimore can use the fact he's 38 years old.
