Duff the Ace of Cakes is in for the Hosie Odonnel Show. Sat in front of us. Really nice guy. Left before the end though. Shame.

Saw him on the television banging on the glass. Did you teach him that one?

LOL! I did not. He was directly in front of me a few rows.

Anyone questioning who the #1 D man on this team is right now? Go look at the TOI. Someone ***** at that contract again. yea.

I took a picture of my buddy with Duff. Duff had to teach me, a Droid user, how to use the Iphone. That was pretty funny. Seemed like a really cool guy.

Well Brunette might be the slowest hockey player I've ever seen in my life. He's not doing anything wrong, but having him out there with Toews and Sharp 5 on 5 is doing him a disservice, and without a doubt hampering them, although there still producing at their regular rates. After typing that maybe he's not hampering them as much as I think, but regardless where is he going to go? The 3rd and 2nd lines are locked up for now, and you can't stick him on the 4th line, so as of now there's really no alternative.

Stalberg.........just doesn't fit, the guys got hands of steel. The one rebound chance was impossible for him to get ahold of, but there was other little shit that he just doesn't get or do. Put the puck deep.....not into our bench. Obviously those things happen, but when your still trying to prove your worth thats not helping at all.

Our D looked fine, Montador had some solid plays and our physical play was definitely a huge upgrade from last year. One wonders what the outcome would have been last year without any return physical play to guys like Selanne.

Die. Stalberg. Die.

The. Stalberg. The?

Honestly Stallberg has some of the most amazing stone hands that he makes John Scott look like he can score. The Stallberg experiment needs to end soon if this continues. Though I wonder if Olesz still a bit injured and that is why those two have not been platooning yet.

Kane and Hossa were beasts all game. Kane in particular. And for all you young hockey fans who bash Kane's back checking, I noticed at least 2 times he was back by Crawford and prevented a shot on net.

Great game.

Crow made some great point blank save in the 3rd/OT to get us the shootout win. Kane dazzled. The spinorama made me nauseous it was so sick. Tazer has had some slick moves driving on net the last 3 games as well. He left a Duck defenseman holding their jock last night and just couldn't roof his shot enough. I'm loving me some Carcillo right now. He keeps his head in the game, no bonehead plays, complements Kane and Hossa well. If he keeps this up I'd like to see him signed to a long term deal. The clean hit on Selanne made me grin last night in the 3rd. Selanne was pissed and Paros was barking. Loved it.

Agree regarding Salmajifgjbngviejbnen's clone Stalberg. Blazing speed, hands of stone, as physical as my 11 year old daughter on the ice. Waive him and send him to Rockford. Maybe some struggling team will bite. I'd rather see Smith or Morin gettting his minutes.

He and I had a moment in the 3rd. Rocky was totally cracking up. Worst officiating tandem you could possibly get tonight. Both those guys suck shit. Sorry.

As for the game, Kaner carried the team even with his gaff tonight. I told him that might have been the best pass I've ever seen.. He put that fucking puck RIGHT ON Hossa's tape. Unreal!

Glad I went even though I still hate the fucking shoot out. Ducks were tougher than I thought. Man that top line is fucking good. Might be one of the best in the league hands down.

And yea, Stalberg pretty much sucks. I agree with Rex I'd give Olezs a shot at this point. He just doesn't do anything but **** up the lines by Q trying to find a spot for him where there is none. Time to change him OUT.

everyone agrees with me eventually

how about trying Frolik in a shootout? The guy is a hard worker out there, and the only "attempt" I remember him ever getting in the Indianhead tore Cory Schnieders nutsack.

How about win the games in reguation and stop this playing like shit part of the games at home?

They have yet to play a complete game at home. Infact I'm thinking they have yet to play HALF a complete game at home.

And we have points in all of those games. Imagine the possibilities when this team puts it together and plays complete games more often.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Okay, I only caught the last 4 minutes of OT on this one, and radipo snippets, so I have to go with just that and what I've heard--correct me if my information is wrong.

1) Did the entire Blackhawks organization bukakke the ref's wife and daughter?

2) Anyone that wants to break up the 2nd line at this point needs to go back to the Vancouver boards.

3) Acording to the game stats, it looks like my prediction was correct on paper. The Rat Pack shut down the best FWD line in all of hockey. I could be wrong if there wear near goals and whatnot.

4) I swear I was able to lip-read Hossa shouting "Hovno!" after he drew iron in the last play of OT.

5) My superstion of "not following the game at all while working out" seems to be working this year. For the sake of the team I will keep up this valliant sacrifice of missing out on my 'hawks fix for the good of the Indianhead.

5) It's no longer the Savard Spin-o-Rama. It's the Kane-o-rama. That goal was beautiful.

I got no problem with this. I still think with Toews, Hossa and Kane, Frolik is still not in my top 3-4.

Minute I saw those two together I knew we'd be on the short end. Luckily our PK so far is VERY GOOD.

Anyone notice Bolland just completely cross check Tim Peel in the 1st period. I yelled BEST CROSS CHECK ALL YEAR! Tim Peel is a fucking asshole.

At this point of the season and it is a short point of the season, I see Caricello being the best pick up from the guys we got. He has been at the right place at the right time and has made some great passes that lead to scoring. This is one reason I was sooo happy we got him. He is almost on almost every assist.

Now for the Bad part, I was not happy with the signing of Stalberg this year, I think he is a waisted position and should go to someone that can contribute. Other then that I love our team, our puck control is back, I love our attacks, and I think our powerplay will eventually click. GO HAWKS!

P.S. RK, to comment on your when last hawks had a complete game at home...I thought the second game against Dallas was a great showing at home.

I agree that was their best home game, but they started slow I thought.

They have shown flashes which is why they are getting points despite not playing full games. They owned the Avs in the 3rd period, but didn't show up in the first.

Both Road games were played far more complete than any home game thus far.

I saw just the replay. I wonder if that's why it sounded like (on the radio) we were being called for piddly shit and they weren't being called unless it was blatantly obvious. As much as it was needed and Bolland rightfully got the Check of the Game for that, let's hope Bolland or anyone else doesn't come out as another Lysiak.
