shoot outs will happen, dispite how much I hate them. Why not give Frolik a shot?

Can't be worse than giving Stalberg a shot, and that already has happened.

I agree that was their best home game, but they started slow I thought.

They have shown flashes which is why they are getting points despite not playing full games. They owned the Avs in the 3rd period, but didn't show up in the first.

Both Road games were played far more complete than any home game thus far.

Honestly our best game might have been the only one where we didn't get any points.

No I think that first home game of the year was our best showing(at home). Our best game was probably in Pheonix, followed by in Colorado. Least IMO.

So far I don't think ANY of our home games have been complete outings and hey, seeing how we have points in all of them, it bodes well for us.

And I thought there were times IN Dallas that first game we looked like ass. That was probably Q's worst game of the year as far as team management.

He gave Stalberg a shot because they practice this in practice all the time and he was like 5 for 5. I'm not a huge Stalberg fan but in Q's defense they often go with what they see in practice. I have no problem with him trying that. The Shoot out is a fucking joke no matter who does it.

In other new....around the NHL, In vancouver, Nucks lose while Lou gets pulled AGAIN, nothing new there. Detroit lose the second straight in a blow out fashion ....and thats the rapp up.

Yes the Yots game was by far the most convincing game. I agree

This is new, his failures normally come during playoff time. He's normally pretty damn good during the regular season.

I got no problem with this. I still think with Toews, Hossa and Kane, Frolik is still not in my top 3-4.

no, but Q seems to be giving a shootout shot to anyone now. Stalberg goes in the shootout? What has he proven in the past 82+ games?

He goes by what he sees during the shoot outs in practice. While not game level Crawford does not allow them to score at will even in practice.

Why exactly do you think Bolland got a shot last night. Because he was light out in the practice the other morning.

him scoring in practice doesn't excuse the fact that he is useless for his entire career in the Indianhead.

has not one thing to do with the the shoot out.

Go start a Stalberg thread and get your angst out that way.

Does it really matter? If the season is coming down to how well they do in shoot outs, they've got much bigger problems to worry about. It's almost always going to be Toews-Kane-(fill in the blank) anyway, so they may as well rotate players in and out of that other spot. I'd like to see Bickell get a chance, he has a hell of a shot, but otherwise I really don't care how well or poorly they do in shoot outs.
