Happy they won, but they completely stopped hitting after the fourth goal. UC crowd was dead 'cause the Hawks looked like shit for a good portion of the night. Getting outshot in this game with all of those power plays was fucking embarrassing.

I couldn't tell being there, but it sure looked like Seabrook threw his stick at the end there. Coulda been a penalty shot against.

If I'm a Dallas fan, I'm pissed about the officiating.

Will be interesting to see if Marc Crawford get's a fine from the NHL. He just went off on the officials in the Hall after the game as they went to their locker room. That is a most definite No No.....

Don't worry PJ he was pissed. Then again I think they could have been called for 2-3 more they didn't call. Wow they hoooked and held more than any team I've watched all year. This a team that had just come off a SEVEN game winning streak before the last loss in Columbus in the SO.

Easily could have been 6-0 after the first. Hawks hit the post three times and the puck trickled just inches past the post on either side. Wow they came out firing.

PP, they are missing Hossa and Kane and it's was more obvious tonight than the other night. Although they did pot two PP goals I think.

2pts is 2pts. Without Hossa and Kane they are now 2-0. I'll take it!

Thought Klinkhammer had a pretty good game. Thought Morin played well. Holy John Scott he has skates!!!

He has not played well as of late. -2 today again. I'm not surprised. He has flashed of good play, but the inconsistency is killing him.

I thought Crawford played a good game. Goal #1, he should have froze and clearly could have gotten a whistle before Neal knocked it out from under his glove. Goals #2, #3 Crawford was screened and never saw. At one point shots were 17-4 Stars!

He made the key saves in the 3rd to seal the win.

Bolland is really starting to come on. He looks like he is finally feeling good after the surgery. Toews showed great burst drawing that penalty at the end. Nice to see guys coming on a bit.

The last two games Bolland has been very good.

I talked to Burish for a few minutes after the game. I miss the character and I think so does the locker room.

While his play might be a dime a dozen the character he brings to a team is somewhat priceless. You could tell he just didn't have it in him tonight to be his normal self on the ice.

Ott on the other hand, is a fucking hack. Nice to see Dowell bust up his face some.

Why would Dallas fans be pissed about officiating? Trying to tell me the calls on the Stars were not legit penalties? Stars were flat as **** through the first period and were playing lazy hockey. Each penalty in the first were legit. Second period? Same thing for the first ten minutes Dallas looked like crap. If I am a Dallas fan I am pissed off at my team for coming out with zero energy to start the game. The only reason they woke up was because the officials were nice enough not to call a fast whistle on the first goal (and rightlfuly so). That woke up Dallas but they still hacked and tripped all night long. Crawfords a fucking cry baby if he wanted the game evened up. Hawks played a pretty clean game all night because they had the puck possession for most of the start of the game. Hard to take a penalty when you have the puck and are the one being chased. Crawford can eat my shit if he is upset so can Stars fans lol. 3rd period was the same to be honest as far as Dallas stick work went thats what tired looking teams do they start tripping. Stars made a game out of it for sure and are fucking lucky as hell our PP was not clicking because every one of the calls against the stars were legit calls. They were wrapping sticks around our guys all night. Hawks played a clean game. It actually could have been to clean a few PK's probably would have energized them more late in the game. They did lose some wheels midway through the second period.

Or should the fans and Crawford pissed because the officials broke NHL rules and gave Raycroft his goalie stick after he lost it (which again I have never eeever seen in an nhl game before)? Or because officials were in the way of a few Hawks puck clearing attempts? Hmmmmmmmmm?

Mark Crawfords a cry baby. Always has been like this since his Avs days. He needs a new hair cut too.

Hey by the way anyone notice Burish out there tonight? Didn't think so.

I was referring to Kopecky supposedly running their goalie on Toews goal and Seabrook throwing his stick at the end.

I'm betting that's what Crawford was pissed about, but who knows.

No, Crawford was pissed about Seabrooks apparent act of throwing his stick and the fact Robidas was called for holding twice in the last 5 minutes of the game.

Had really nothing to do with Kopecky as he was PUSHED into the goalie. First time I've seen that call go FOR the Hawks in quite awhile.

Again the Stars could have been called for at least three more early in the 3rd and were not. They were hooking, holding and interfering all over the place. For once the officials called it. Ironically the PP was not good! 1-7 on 5 on 3's. Although this one was between periods which almost NEVER ends up in a goal when PP's are broken up by the period break.

Honestly did you think you would? I didn't. He doesn't have the heart to play against what could be called some of his best friends. You could totally tell.

Thought Richards and Toews giving each other looks in the final minutes was pretty fucking funny.

And Crawford had that puck UNDER his glove. The whistle easily could have been blown. Neil whacked it out from under his glove and the luck of the puck for Neil had it go in the net.

And what the **** was with the Ref giving Raycroft his stick??? I don't think I've ever seen that one. It was 15ft away from him??? Our entire section seriously bood the ref. Happened right in front of me and I thought I was seeing things????

I'm not gonna lie, I'm starting to like Scott in the line-up... I guess he's just grown on me. I think he really puts confidence in some of these guys.

From what I remember, referees are not allowed to interfere with the play -- at least not intentionally. And that, as nice as it was for that ref to give Raycroft his stick (maybe in peewees), is probably considered intentionally interfering.

We also got a few calls go our way tonight... Morin high-sticked a Star right over the blueline on a backcheck and the only call on the play was that it was off-sides for the Stars... pretty big break there.

Thought Skille improved as the game went on, Campbell was awesome tonight, and I didn't mind Klinkhammer, hes a really gritty forward. Might be good for some extra sandpaper to wear teams down.

That slow motion "Savardian spin o rama" was pretty neat... lol!

Surprised he didn't fall down...

Last stat I heard is they are 40% more likely to not score when the penalty is split between periods. It is a horrid number that's for sure.

Yea when I saw that I was not too keen on what the ref did....but honestly it really did not affect the play on the ice and I have seen other on ice officials do the same thing when the play has left the zone and is almost to the opposing zone. But yea it is just "interesting" to see.

See they shouldn't do that but they should (if possible) clear broken sticks and dropped sticks off the ice, they are an unnecessary hazard. Also I thought they used to do that.

It was Skille that crashed the net and got pushed into Raycroft on Toews' goal, but yeah, that one I thought could have gone either way.

Seabrook probably should have been called at the end of the game regardless of the intent. He did throw his stick although it likely fell out of his hands cus he hit the ground so hard.

You'll see them do it occasionally, but not often anymore.

Good eyes Frank-kay! I concur sir.

I am NOT calling conspiracy on anything here, but by the end of the game the whole thing felt like a planned exercise. We bum rush them on home ice, they come back, it goes down to the wire, and we win. All very dramatic and half of the stuff could only seem plausible IF it was in fact scripted. Wierd game in many ways. The refs, our Crawford seemingly breaking down, the keystone cops routine immediately before Sharp's shorty to end the game...

...and don't get me started on the second intermission shoot the puck crazyness! Four first round goals and a hot chick nails the single slot shot on her first attempt!?!? WHAT WHAT WHAT! I bet that chick plays hockey for some prep school........

Either way, wild ride, I bet it was a blast to watch in person.

Not sure aboot the wild conspiracy theory, but the Stars should have been awarded a penalty shot.

It's nice to see the refs call a horrid game in our favor, but Dallas got screwed.
