Great game to be at... Had a great time with everyone that attened. I think we had a few calls go our way...very suprised. But then again like RK mentioned they could have called a number of pen. on them. We should have put this game away in the first if not for sure in the second. Our Power play was god awfull. We were at one point saying No! No! decline the pen. As for Scott, he was showing savard how the spin-o-ramma really should look like, haha by the time he got to mid ice, the season was almost done, in all seriousness, I have started liking him since the blood bath in LA. He really is like the big brother that you don't mess with on the ice. As emphasized in many other games, we should be finishing teams off when we have the lead. I have seen it one game against Vancouver, where we just kept scoring. Although I have to say its a learning proccess since this is a young and new team that is still learing and that will change as the season goes on.

On another note, Stu's, thanks for the Kettle one passes and Rk great time taking with ya. Hope to see you all soon at another game!

Not sure aboot the wild conspiracy theory, but the Stars should have been awarded a penalty shot.

It's nice to see the refs call a horrid game in our favor, but Dallas got screwed.

LOL

Dallas was called for 7 minors and were given at least four more the refs didn't call.

They were far from screwed.

They got screwed out of a penalty shot, and there were several calls that could have been called on the Hawks.

I have yet to see the Skille play on Toews goal again, so I can't say that their goalie was interfered with.

I'm happy that we caught the break, but I can be objective about things.

It could have EASILY been a tie game, which would have been vomitous after having a 4-1 lead.

Seabrook did not throw his stick at the puck carrier. It APPEARED that way to Edzo, Marc Crawford, and a handful of FANS. I think Seabs knows better than to do that...

The reason no penalty was called is because it APPEARED to the refs (the only guys who matter in this equation) that Seabs stick flew at the puck carrier as a result of how he hit the ice when he tripped over his own feet.

Get it?

Still, I was surprised that one wasn't called regardless.

To me though, that was offset by the ref handing Raycroft his stick back. WWW.whatthefuck.com!

Horrible officiating and the officiating crew should be made to do an ECHL stint for that transgression.

Don't tell the expert above that. He's "objective".

Objective? You said it was an Unsatisfying win. You should stop wasting your time going down there.

Ha ha ha, you mean SUBjective, right?

Marc Crawford was trying to be objective with the call. ie [Stick goes flying at puck carrier = Penalty shot]

Refs were being subjective which is how it should be called. ie [Stick was not THROWN at the puck carrier = no call]

Nice counter-argument.

Typical, but nice.

you said it was unsatisfying. If it really was you should stop wasting your time. I know for one I'm going to stop wasting my time reading your dribble. Fact.

As for the counter argument I'd rather argue with my 15 year old. He's more of a challenge.

I thought the refs missed a clear high stick on the hawks. I also thought the Stars tripped at least three time early in the 3rd no call. As for the the holding and hooking the Hawks were very discipline last night, while the Stars werent.

Everyone once in awhile a game goes like that. Very infrequent where the Hawks are concerned. I walked away VERY satisfied we got two points and played a very good game considering 23% of our point production was OUT of the line up.

Hell even John Scott had a good game!

It was unsatisfying. All of those power plays, and we get outshot?

I'm happy with the win, but I would have liked to have seen them finish as strong as they started.

Apparently Q was also not happy with the way that they took their feet off the gas.

Perhaps he should stop going, as well.

But I shall make sure I bring my rose-colored glasses with me to the next game.

Why would I stop going. I don't make dumb ass comments like it was "unsatisfying". If it was I wouldn't waste my fucking money.

Again 23% of their offensive fire power was out of the line up. Hossa and Kane on the PP. What did you expect? Wait, never mind.

Thought Klinkhammer had a pretty good game. Thought Morin played well. Holy John Scott he has skates!!!

Hells yeah, ya see Scott-o-saurus dangle low in his own zone and lead the rush oot!?

Nice to get the win but I'm thankful the Stars stared so flat. The clown shoes PP was painful to watch. Injuries or not they weren't even getting shots off. After seeing the replay of the stick incident I can't believe the refs didn't call it.

Richards is one helluva player, what a pass to Eriksson. Wow! He'll be a nice addition come deadline time.

The lack of Hossa or Kane is not the reason why we couldn't outshoot Dallas when we had FIVE POWER PLAYS and they had one.

And I never suggested you stop going to games.

I'm just suggesting that casting a critical eye does NOT make you a poor fan.

Neither does not going to the games.

Really? Hossa and Kane are not key to the PP? I thought they lucked out against the Flames, then again the Stars, a first place team, 8-2 in their last 10 games, is not the Flames.

I had a great time last night and was EXTREMELY satisfied with the win. And I'm sorry the coach is never fucking satisfied. That's why he's the coach. I'm sure was EXTREMELY satisfied they aquired 2pts which two of his top players out of the line up playing a team that had only lost TWO FUCKING GAMES in thier last 10.

Puckjim, in all fairness....WHO CARES! we won. I don't think anyone in chicago really cares if they deserved a pen. shot or not. WE WON!! I don't think if Dallas had won, their fans would say awww chicago should have got a pen. shot. I can't count the times we were screwed on calls. It feels great that we get some calls our way sometimes. Yes there we blown calls, but it also goes for Dallas that should have gotten at least 7 calls on tripping/slashing/ect. OOOOO FREAKIN WELL... teams will find things to complain about no matter how the game went, its part of life. As long as we got the 2 points thats all that matters. Jesus man chill.
