Get well Q, maybe this will be this teams "Commit to the Indian"... Looks like it's not too serious, just some chest pains. I'm sure like me we've all had them. Especially after watching this team.

Just get the win. In regulation.

My name's not serious....

...and, yes, Q is in the hospital...

CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville was admitted to a hospital Wednesday morning after being taken to the emergency room a night earlier night with an "undisclosed health concern."

The latest news from Hawks beat reporter Jesse Rogers. Blog

"Joel presented severe discomfort late last night at his home in suburban Chicago," Blackhawks team physician Michael Terry said in a statement. "He went to the emergency room and was admitted early this morning.

"He is currently in stable condition and is being treated for an undisclosed health concern today, not of cardiac nature. Further testing is ongoing and we will provide an update when possible."

Assistant coach Mike Haviland will fill in Wednesday night when the Blackhawks host the Minnesota Wild.

"We certainly wish Joel a speedy recovery and we will do everything possible to support him and his family throughout the process," general manager Stan Bowman said in a statement.

My guess is that he just realized they traded Skille for a center that he is now playing at wing... ZAP to the heart.

Quick Stan, while Q's in the hospital trade Boynton for a bag of pucks...

Seriously I hope Q is alright.

I bet, with all the lastest outbursts with him during games that were blown by the refs, if his blood pressure did not go threw the roof, mild heart attack possible of some sort. Hope he is doing good.

I'm a fan of Q...and hope he's ok. Not being heart related, I wonder what it could be? Head related? It must be scary for him and family....and hope it's just for tests (some bad mexican food...been there) and all's ok.

If it is something bad...and he's out for the year for some crazy reason....does Daddy Bowman come down for a dramatic playoff push/run?

way ahead of yourself there but I would imagine Haviland would take over.

Bolland as 2nd line center? Who'd a thought..... Only took them 3/4 of the season.

I'd still go with Sharp at center (even though I dont think he likey that much)

67-19-88

82-10-81

29-36-22

And yeah...I know Havvy should/would get the shot.....but I wonder if Scottie has any fire in that belly if the situation came...

eh every time I think of Bolland with Hossa I get blinded by the memory of Bolland with Havlat.

Glad he's going to give it another shot. Hurt's having Kopecky at C as he sucks as Center.

Also I was talking with someone a little while ago that's pretty good friends with Scotty. What type of fire would/could that give this team?

I hope Q is ok though.

Wow... Becky at center... I take it back, this is what put Q in the hospital...

In all seriousness I hate to make light of it, but they are saying it's not serious so I imagine it's all precautionary at this point. I've had chest pains from breathing before, went to the emergency room, they checked me out and said it was nothing. They didn't have to open him up so I'm going to assume everything is fine. If it was serious, I'm sure it would be a different tone, but at this point it's just par for the course for this team and an easy target to make fun of.

This team is just plain snake-bit this year. Anything that CAN go wrong HAS gone wrong. What a 180 from last year....

Not to much different than the year before though.

If this is the worst it gets around here, I'm ok with that. I remember 2004 when they won 20 games, total.
