Seeing RK yell at the refs is something every Hawks fan should see before they die.

The first two periods were an absolute disgrace, especially with all the millions of PPs the Hawks were given that they didn't give a **** about. I guess it's cute to pass instead of put the puck on net on the PP.

Anyone who sees otherwise must be blind.

Hawks outshot the Wild 18-8 in the 2nd, Heck even with their poor 1st period play the Hawks had oushot the Wild 28-25 after two periods. PP was 2 of 6 on the night - 33.3% and higher than our league second best 24.8% - plus Theodore made some big plays against the Hawks on our other PPs, except for the 4 minute PP, which was a debacle. Takeaway the PP, 2 goals, and we lose last night.

Either that or you are blind.

I thought the Hawks took it to them. I also think they fucked the shots on goal up at some point in the first. One minute they had four shots, the next 12. Yea. I thought Hossa got it from where I sit, but if not his traffic caused it.

Theodore made some crazy saves just as Crawford did. Hossa, might have been his best game since he came back from him first injury. Was all over the place.

Goal Tender Interference? Notice they score on the bullshit call. Calls missed all over the place, for both sides, but some of the Hawks missed calls were blatant. Toews completely cross checked right at the beginning of the game was pretty obvious.

Theodore was OUT OF HIS CREASE and Bickell was TRIPPED over him. Hossa partial break away, taken down, nothing?

I do not think Minny played any better than the Hawks Stu. Strange opinion. Hawks won against a VERY HOT team. Take two more this week. Must wins IMO.

Q has the Flu from what I heard. Same thing Hossa, Scott, Stahlberg, Kane and Dowell have had. All missing time. Kaner no where near feelign well, but kudos for him in playing.

I hope you are being sarcastic stu. That "bad team" has the 4th best road record in the Conference and before yesterday were 8-2 in their last ten.

4pt points from being 4th in the conference. LOL

Yea the shot count was highly inflated for the Wild yesterday, almost like the button was stuck. Heck, I watched two shots get counted for one shot that was not even on net and one counted for CC gloving the attempt that was a shot across the crease that was at least 2 feet in front of the net, and never would have been on net.

This was a game of two teams battling for a playoff spot. Since the Wild have gotten the hang of a more open game they have been hot, so Stu this was no game against a bottom feeder. The 'Hawks played the full game, yea that 4 min PP seem more like a time kill, but the 'Hawks did play to win this game. Theo and CC were both on top of their games last night which kept it a pretty tight game.

Hawks were very close to having 5 or 6 goals in this game. Bolland and Hossa both had their sticks lifted at the last second while standing in front of a very open net. I know those type of close calls happen every game but there were a couple other ones as well. I would have loved to see Kanes spinarama go in instead of hitting the pipe.

If Hossa and Brouwer keep playing the way they did last night, there should be more points coming this way. And that goalie interference call ...complete BS

I said the same thing in the Havi's win thread. How is that goalie interference? Theodore dove in front of him as he was skating by. He was well out of the crease. And it was Bolland that got mugged on the Hossa drop pass. No call. Interference on Hammer not called. Way too obvious to let go. Just NHL reffing at it's finest.

GTI is the most difficult penalty to see and call. The refs seem to not understand the rule.

Too much room for interpretation.

Goals waived off for GTI should be reviewable. This is an argument for a coach's challenge.

Hossa needs to be that player he was last nite for the remaining 25 games. (5g in last 33gms...1 being an EN...YIKES)

Keith and Seabrook need to more like the combined +140 they were for the past 3 years than the combined -5 this year.

I'd like to see those 3 play up to par from here on out. No doubt if they do, they'll make the playoffs.

I thought the refs were brutal, but the Wild definitely got the short end of the stick this game. A lot of tick tack penalties were called on the Wild and plenty of no-calls for them as well. That GTI was BS as well but I won't complain considering how many went our way.

Toews knocking the net off and there was no call -- pretty much sums up the Wild's night.

Too many missed calls across the league affecting the outcome of games. The powers that be have to be aware of this problem but yet no action. It does'nt reflect very well on the decision makers to not have a better review process. A lot of these calls are just to damned obvious to not have a more extensive review process. Just get it right NHL.

Yea but he was crosschecked from behind by Burns in the first two minutes of the game with no call as well. Not to mention I'm pretty sure the Wild had two extra players on the ice when they called the Hawks for TMM.

It was brutal all the way around. Hawks could have had a couple of more but the wild could have had several. Not to mention the throwing of the stick was probably a make up call for the bullshit GTI...

I try not to even think of the officiating anymore....whats the point.

It's like when we allowed women to drive. There's nothing we can do about it at this point, just learn to deal with it. We all know it's going to be terrible on the roads, yet we still drive.

Bolland is really rounding into form. Of course I'm the biggest Bolland honk there is. But he is really regaining the form from a couple years ago. I think his back is finally right. And its starting to show up. Even the face-offs are getting better. Hopefully he and Hossa will keep working well together. Hossa is critical if the Hawks want to make a run.

As some of you discussed on how Crawford saved our ass, and we didn't do shit...I see it differently. I thought aside from the begining 8 min. We could have had 4 more goals on top of what we had. Hossa wa GREAT,and would have had a goal if it wasn't for Barker's stick, Great play by Barker by the way. If Bickell wasn't thinking about himself and passed it too Kopey, he would have had one on that two on one. Those are two of many other possible goals that we should have had. All in all we had a great game and we had our foot on their throats much of the second and third. I have no dought we can beat the BJ's, good time to catch up in the west Pitt with all their issues on Sunday and steal one in St louis, then we should be in the thick of it all. I think its time to book the hotals in chicago so they stay focused.
