Still a chance. Win Saturday you are even in games and 5pts back with 3 agains the Wings.

Thought it was a decent game. Vocoun has this teams number and you know that was in the back of their mind. Especially in the first when it just appeared there was some force field around the net.

I disagree with Keith TCD. He made one of the dumbest decisions I've seen all year in the 2nd. Put the puck right out in front of Crawford. Lucky it didn't end up in the back of the net as it was still 0-0. Other than that the team played well I thought. They focused and kept playing. Didn't sit on their lead which has been a huge problem this year.

First penalty, Hossa you can hold a stick like that. Funny thing they didn't call it until Vocoun appeared to call it.

Kruger for his first game played well I thought. Other than the goofy holding penalty he took right at the end, which could have cost Crawford the shut out.

Kaner finally solved Vocoun with a extremely week shot. The Hossa-Frolik-Kopecky goal was a beauty! Vocoun didn't know which direction to go!

Must needed 2pts and they got it. Now knock off the quacks on Saturday and put more distance between us.

Oh and Seabrook, nice A and AWESOME game buddy!!

Ohhh no. It was Dowell that made the dumbest play of the year on the Panthers PP in the second. When he put it right on the Panthers player stick in front of Craw. I don't know the play you were talking about with Keith I may have missed that one but I did see Dowell do it. I thought Keith and Seabs as a pair looked good tonight. Am I permitted to say I get scared every time Dowell is on the ice. Not sure what it is about him that frightens me.

I am not sure if Kanes goal was weak. Certainly wasn't the most blistering shot but on Kanes end of it he did a great job pulling it out of his skates where Keith passed it. I'll give you that one on Keith... it was a brutal pass lol but Kaner saved it and pulled off a pretty quick move to get it on his blade. Thought it was a pretty move by Kane even though Vokoun probably should have had it. Not sure if that makes sense..was a soft goal but it wasn't? LOL I need to stop talking.

I am not going to concern myself with the division at this point. It's a secondary thought for me to be honest. I just want a secured playoff spot. Not impossible the division but it's still a tall order.

Agree it was nice to see Seabs with the A. Always looks good on him when he wears it. He did have a great game tonight.

Yea it was a very bad shift for Duncan. The score was 0-0. Luckily it didn't end up in the back of the net as the first goal tonight was Key.

Other than that I thought they played well as a pair.

The PP didn't look to good but he has different people on them so it will take some time. I will say I liked having #2 and #7 and #51 and #14 on the points. It's taken him all year to have DMEN on the point.

Let them get used to being on the units together and watch out.

And I will add any Hawk fan booing this team tonight during the 2nd PP can go **** off. Let's not yell, "LETS GO HAWKS" to get them going, rather boo them.

Fucking idiots.

The thing that really stood out to me last night, and I commented on it several times in chat last night, was their timing looked "off" until the middle of the second. Passes were a second too late, or the shooter heistated just a second too long. It was almost like a preseason game. Then Seabs scored and a giant light bulb went off in their mind "Oh yeah, thats what we're supposed to do."

The other thing I commented on last night is Stu needs to cut back on the number of man crushes he has, that can't be healthy.

Oh, and Freddy (Kruger) played an ok game....I'll let him get a little time before I'll pass judgement on him.

I'll be at Saturday's game with my son and a couple of his friends, and, if "fans" start booing our team, I'm gonna piss in their cornflakes....(or on their face, whichever is easier)...

...oh, and even Kaner was laffing after he scored on that almost-whiffed shot!!

I like predicting the hawks will lose, they win, yay. Also jesus christ Vokoun plays off his fucking ass against us. We had 2-3 SOLID scoring chances in the first and he said NOPE.

Don't jump off of the 300 level if the Hawks are down early.

Needed that win.

Stahlberg does not look out of place on the Toews/Kane line this time around.

Agree with RK regarding Keith, he centered that pass on Crawfords dorrstep with a Panther right in front of the goal, surprised it didn't end up in our net.

I'll wait to pass judgement on Kruger.

Campoli continues to impress me. What a steal he could end up being.

Yea there were almost 17k in the building for that. Including a shit load of Leaf fans.

I've seen someone score Their 100th, 400th and 500th goals live.

Will get the 200 for Kane and Toews at some point.

Only if they are playing in Tampa......

Seems like they were trying to figure out each other in the first..got it going in the second and finished it off in the third. God that passing from Hoss to Fro then the dish to Kopy was a thing of beauty...seeing Vocoun that far out told you how much he fell for it. LOL. Over all great mistake free game...along with I gatta say good officating.

I think in the first OUR team was trying to figure each other out, AND Vocoun was playing out of his mind.

Remember you had a new top line pretty much and had injected a completely new Center.

Not to mention Florida played the previous night so had their legs with them for the start of the game. Where as I think towards the end they were wearing down, while we continued to gain our legs.

Nexts weeks Back to Back in Detroit and Boston will not be easy for the Hawks.

Florida only gave up one goal in NY against the Rangers and still lost.

Agreed Red, that tic-tac-toe by the Czechoslovak line was a thing of beauty.

Great job on the win by everyone.

In the game a few weeks ago, FLA did a good job of taking away lanes/mucking up the neutral zone. Based on their team makeup, they do what they have to do to try to just stay in games, but the Hawks skill took over - just as it did in the first game (but Vokoun stole that one).

Both Dowell and Keith had a horrendous turnover in the game - Keith's in the second, Dowell in the third (I think on the PK nonetheless).

It's going to take Kruger a few games - probably the rest of the year - to find his game/adjust to this speed, so don't be suprised if he is "invisible". Q did a good job of using him sparingly, and I'm sure it will more of that until the game slows down for him.

Another good win and 6 big points coming up. 4 out of 6 would be great, but a very tough 3gms in 4 nights.

As some are saying its going to be tought the rest of the way..I say Boston is the biggest challange, Other then that Im sticking to two losses the rest of the way. One being Boston. Me thinks Q will stick to defense and have other teams make mistakes and then we pounce on it. I think we saw some of that yesterday, If we play D like yesterday we should be in great shape. I also think Sharp will be back against Detroit At the U.C second to last game. Should make things very interesting if are fighting for first.

Funny story to share from last nights game.

The lady sitting next to me was visiting from Vancouver and had never been to a Blackhawks game before. She was a guest of Ryan Johnson. After some small talk our discusssion turned into the Nucks/ Hawks last two postseasons. She said she had known Ryan for a number of years and tonight she was a Johnson/ Blackhawks fan for the evening. I laughed and said good for you and btw my favorite Blackhawks postseason goalie is Luongo.

She stopped, looked at me and said, "that was not very nice" and then laughed. She said I was correct though how we get into Lou's head. She was a great sport, good hockey fan and the type of rivalry fan you will enjoy sitting next to.
